1 Cântico. Salmo dos filhos de Coré. Grande é o Senhor e digno de todo louvor, na cidade de nosso Deus. O seu monte santo,	1 A psalm of the Korahites. A song.
2 colina magnífica, é uma alegria para toda a terra. O lado norte do monte Sião é a cidade do grande rei.	2 Great is the LORD and highly praised in the city of our God: The holy mountain,
3 Deus se mostrou em seus palácios um baluarte seguro.	3 fairest of heights, the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, the heights of Zaphon, the city of the great king.
4 Eis que se unem os reis para atacar juntamente.	4 God is its citadel, renowned as a stronghold.
5 Apenas a vêem, atônitos de medo e estupor, fogem.	5 See! The kings assembled, together they invaded.
6 Aí o terror se apodera deles, uma angústia como a de mulher em parto,	6 When they looked they were astounded; terrified, they were put to flight!
7 ou como quando o vento do oriente despedaça as naus de Társis.	7 Trembling seized them there, anguish, like a woman's labor,
8 Como nos contaram, assim o vimos na cidade do Senhor dos exércitos, na cidade de nosso Deus; Deus a sustenta eternamente!	8 As when the east wind wrecks the ships of Tarshish!
9 Ó Deus, relembremos a vossa misericórdia no interior de vosso templo.	9 What we had heard we now see in the city of the LORD of hosts, In the city of our God, founded to last forever. Selah
10 Como o vosso nome, ó Deus, assim vosso louvor chega até os confins do mundo. Vossa mão direita está cheia de justiça.	10 O God, within your temple we ponder your steadfast love.
11 Que o monte Sião se alegre. Que as cidades de Judá exultem, à vista de vossos juízos!	11 Like your name, O God, your praise reaches the ends of the earth. Your right hand is fully victorious.
12 Relanceai o olhar sobre Sião, dai-lhe a volta, contai suas torres,	12 Mount Zion is glad! The cities of Judah rejoice because of your saving deeds!
13 considerai suas fortificações, examinai seus palácios, para narrardes às gerações futuras:	13 Go about Zion, walk all around it, note the number of its towers.
14 como Deus é grande, nosso Deus dos séculos eternos; é ele o nosso guia.	14 Consider the ramparts, examine its citadels, that you may tell future generations:
	15 "Yes, so mighty is God, our God who leads us always!"
