2 Milyen kedvesek a te hajlékaid, Seregek Ura!	2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.
3 Sóvárogva vágyakozik lelkem az Úr udvaraiba. Szívem és testem ujjong az élő Isten után.	3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.
4 Hiszen a veréb házat talál magának, a gerlice fészket, ahová fiait helyezze: a te oltáraidnál, seregek Ura, én királyom és én Istenem!	4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause
5 Milyen boldogok, Uram, akik házadban lakhatnak: magasztalhatnak téged örökkön örökké!	5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

11 Mert jobb egy nap a te udvaraidban, mint más helyen ezer. Inkább akarok a küszöbön lenni Istenem házában, mint a gonoszok sátraiban lakni.	11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.
12 Mert nap és védőpajzs az Úr Isten, kegyelmet és dicsőséget ad az Úr,	12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.
13 nem vonja meg javait azoktól, akik ártatlanságban járnak. Seregek Ura, boldog az az ember, aki tebenned bízik!
