Ezechiele 25

BIBBIA CEI 1974	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Mi fu rivolta questa parola del Signore:	1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,
2 "Figlio dell'uomo, rivolgiti agli Ammoniti e predici contro di loro.	2 'Son of man, turn towards the Ammonites and prophesy against them.
3 Annunzierai agli Ammoniti: Udite la parola del Signore Dio. Dice il Signore Dio: Poiché tu hai esclamato: Ah! Ah! riguardo al mio santuario poiché è stato profanato, riguardo al paese di Israele perché è stato devastato, e riguardo alla casa di Giuda perché condotta in esilio,	3 Say to the Ammonites, "Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since yougloated over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was ravaged, and over theHouse of Judah when it went into exile,
4 per questo: Ecco, io ti do in mano ai figli d'oriente. Metteranno in te i loro accampamenti, e in mezzo a te pianteranno le loro tende: mangeranno i tuoi frutti e berranno il tuo latte.	4 I shal let the sons of the East take possession of you; they wil pitch their camps inside you, they wilmake their home in you. They will be the ones to eat your produce and drink your milk.
5 Farò di Rabbà una stalla da cammelli e delle città di Ammòn un ovile per pecore. Allora saprete che io sono il Signore".	5 I shal turn Rabbah into a camel yard and the towns of Ammon into sheepfolds. And so you wil knowthat I am Yahweh.
6 Perché dice il Signore Dio: "Siccome hai battuto le mani, hai pestato i piedi in terra e hai gioito in cuor tuo con pieno disprezzo per il paese d'Israele,	6 "The Lord Yahweh says this: Since you have clapped your hands and danced for joy, ful of maliciousdelight at Israel's fate,
7 per questo, eccomi: Io stendo la mano su di te e ti darò in preda alle genti; ti sterminerò dai popoli e ti cancellerò dal numero delle nazioni. Ti annienterò e allora saprai che io sono il Signore".	7 my hand wil be against you for this; I shall hand you over to be looted by the peoples, obliterate youas a nation and wipe you out as a country. I shal reduce you to nothing, and you wil know that I am Yahweh.
8 Dice il Signore Dio: "Poiché Moab e Seir hanno detto: Ecco, la casa di Giuda è come tutti gli altri popoli,	8 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Moab and Seir have said: Look at the House of Judah; it is nodifferent from any other nation;
9 ebbene, io apro il fianco di Moab, in tutto il suo territorio anniento le sue città, decoro del paese, Bet-Iesimòt, Baal-Meòn, Kiriatàim,	9 very wel , I shall expose Moab's heights; its cities will no longer be cities throughout the land -- thejewels of the country, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon and Kiriathaim.
10 e le do in possesso ai figli d'oriente, come diedi loro gli Ammoniti, perché non siano più ricordati fra i popoli.	10 I shal let the sons of the East and the Ammonites take possession of them, so that they wil nolonger be remembered by the nations.
11 Così farò giustizia di Moab e sapranno che io sono il Signore".	11 I shal bring Moab to justice, and they will know that I am Yahweh.
12 Dice il Signore Dio: "Poiché Edom ha sfogato crudelmente la sua vendetta contro la casa di Giuda e s'è reso colpevole vendicandosi su di essa,	12 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Edom has taken revenge on the House of Judah and committedgreat crimes in doing so,
13 per questo, così dice il Signore Dio: Anch'io stenderò la mano su Edom, sterminerò in esso uomini e bestie e lo ridurrò a un deserto. Da Teman fino a Dedan cadranno di spada.	13 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against Edom and denude it of human andanimal. I shal lay it waste, from Teman as far as Dedan they wil be put to the sword.
14 La mia vendetta su Edom la compirò per mezzo del mio popolo, Israele, che tratterà Edom secondo la mia ira e il mio sdegno. Si conoscerà così la mia vendetta". Oracolo del Signore Dio.	14 I shal take vengeance on Edom by means of my people Israel. They wil treat Edom as my angerand fury dictate, and they wil know this is my vengeance -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
15 Dice il Signore Dio: "Poiché i Filistei si son vendicati con animo pieno di odio e si son dati a sterminare, mossi da antico rancore,	15 "The Lord Yahweh says this, "Since the Philistines have acted in revenge and, motivated by malice,have taken revenge, doing their best to destroy because of their long-standing hatred,
16 per questo, così dice il Signore Dio: Ecco, io stendo la mano sui Filistei, sterminerò i Cretei e annienterò il resto degli abitanti sul mare.	16 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against the Philistines; I shal exterminate theCherethites and destroy the rest of the coastal peoples.
17 Farò su di loro terribili vendette, castighi furiosi, e sapranno che io sono il Signore, quando eseguirò su di loro la vendetta".	17 I shal perform frightful acts of vengeance and inflict furious punishments on them; and they will knowthat I am Yahweh, when I exact my vengeance on them." '
