11 I figli di Gad dimoravano di fronte nella regione di Basàn fino a Salca.	11 The sons of Gad dwelt over against them in the land of Bashan as far as Salecah:

15 Achì, figlio di Abdièl, figlio di Guni, era il capo del loro casato.	15 Ahi the son of Abdi-el, son of Guni, was chief in their fathers' houses;
16 Dimoravano in Gàlaad e in Basàn e nelle loro dipendenze e in tutti i pascoli di Saron fino ai loro estremi confini.	16 and they dwelt in Gilead, in Bashan and in its towns, and in all the pasture lands of Sharon to their limits.

18 I figli di Ruben, i Gaditi e metà della tribù di Manàsse, gente valorosa, armata di scudo e di spada, tiratori di arco ed esperti della guerra, potevano uscire in campo in quarantaquattromilasettecentosessanta.	18 The Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh had valiant men, who carried shield and sword, and drew the bow, expert in war, forty-four thousand seven hundred and sixty, ready for service.
19 Essi attaccarono gli Agarèni, Ietur, Nafis e Nodab.	19 They made war upon the Hagrites, Jetur, Naphish, and Nodab;
20 Essi furono aiutati contro costoro, perché durante l'assalto si erano rivolti a Dio, che li aiutò per la loro fiducia in lui e così gli Agarèni e tutti i loro alleati furono consegnati nelle loro mani.	20 and when they received help against them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried to God in the battle, and he granted their entreaty because they trusted in him.
21 Essi razziarono il bestiame degli Agarèni: cinquantamila cammelli, duecentocinquantamila pecore, duemila asini e centomila persone,	21 They carried off their livestock: fifty thousand of their camels, two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, two thousand asses, and a hundred thousand men alive.

23 I figli di metà della tribù di Manàsse abitavano dalla regione di Basàn a Baal-Ermon, a Senir e al monte Ermon; essi erano numerosi.	23 The members of the half-tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land; they were very numerous from Bashan to Baal-hermon, Senir, and Mount Hermon.
24 Questi sono i capi dei loro casati: Efer, Isèi, Elièl, Azrièl, Geremia, Odavìa e Iacdièl, uomini valorosi e famosi, capi dei loro casati.	24 These were the heads of their fathers' houses: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azri-el, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdi-el, mighty warriors, famous men, heads of their fathers' houses.
25 Ma furono infedeli al Dio dei loro padri, prostituendosi agli dèi delle popolazioni indigene, che Dio aveva distrutte davanti a essi.	25 But they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and played the harlot after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them.
