NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 The portion falling to the tribe of the sons of Judah, by clans, was near the frontier of Edom, from thedesert of Zin southwards to Kadesh in the south.	1 وكانت القرعة لسبط بني يهوذا حسب عشائرهم الى تخم ادوم برية صين نحو الجنوب اقصى التيمن.
2 Their southern frontier began at the tip of the Salt Sea, at the southerly bay;	2 وكان تخمهم الجنوبي اقصى بحر الملح من اللسان المتوجه نحو الجنوب.
3 it proceeded south of the Ascent of Scorpions, crossed Zin and came up to Kadesh-Barnea from thesouth; past Hezron, it went on to Addar and turned towards Karka;	3 وخرج الى جنوب عقبة عقربّيم وعبر الى صين وصعد من جنوب قادش برنيع وعبر الى حصرون وصعد الى ادّار ودار الى القرقع
4 the frontier then went on to Azmon, came out at the Torrent of Egypt and reached as far as the sea.This is to be your southern frontier.	4 وعبر الى عصمون وخرج الى وادي مصر وكانت مخارج التخم عند البحر. هذا يكون تخمكم الجنوبي.
5 The eastern frontier was the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan.	5 وتخم الشرق بحر الملح الى طرف الاردن. وتخم جانب الشمال من لسان البحر اقصى الاردن.
6 The northern boundary began at the bay at the mouth of the Jordan. The boundary went up to Beth-Hoglah, passed north of Beth-ha-Arabah and went on to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.	6 وصعد التخم الى بيت حجلة وعبر من شمال بيت العربة وصعد التخم الى حجر بوهن بن رأوبين
7 The boundary then went on to Debir from the Vale of Achor and turned north towards the stone circleopposite the Ascent of Adummim, which is south of the Torrent; the boundary went on to the Waters of En-Shemesh and came out at En-Rogel.	7 وصعد التخم الى دبير من وادي عخور وتوجه نحو الشمال الى الجلجال التي مقابل عقبة ادميم التي من جنوبي الوادي. وعبر التخم الى مياه عين شمس وكانت مخارجه الى عين روجل.
8 It then went back up the Val ey of Hinnom, coming from the south to the flank of the Jebusite -- that is,Jerusalem -- and climbed to the crest of the mountain barring the Valley of Hinnom to the west, at the northernend of the Val ey of the Rephaim.	8 وصعد التخم في وادي ابن هنوم الى جانب اليبوسي من الجنوب. هي اورشليم. وصعد التخم الى راس الجبل الذي قبالة وادي هنوم غربا الذي هو في طرف وادي الرفائيين شمالا.
9 From the mountain top, the boundary curved round to the spring of the Waters of Nephtoah, went on tothe towns of Mount Ephron and then turned towards Baalah -- that is, Kiriath-Jearim.	9 وامتد التخم من راس الجبل الى منبع مياه نفتوح وخرج الى مدن جبل عفرون وامتد التخم الى بعلة. هي قرية يعاريم.
10 From Baalah, the boundary curved westwards to the highlands of Seir, skirted the northern slope ofMount Jearim -- that is, Chesalon -- went down to Beth-Shemesh and through Timnah,	10 وامتد التخم من بعلة غربا الى جبل سعير وعبر الى جانب جبل يعاريم من الشمال. هي كسالون ونزل الى بيت شمس وعبر الى تمنة.
11 came out on the northern flank of Ekron, turned towards Shikkeron and, passing through thehighlands of Baalah, came out at Jabneel, and reached as far as the sea.	11 وخرج التخم الى جانب عقرون نحو الشمال وامتد التخم الى شكرون وعبر جبل البعلة وخرج الى يبنئيل وكان مخارج التخم عند البحر.
12 The western boundary was the Great Sea itself. Such was the frontier surrounding the sons of Judah,by clans.	12 والتخم الغربي البحر الكبير وتخومه. هذا تخم بني يهوذا مستديرا حسب عشائرهم
13 Caleb son of Jephunneh was given a share within that of the sons of Judah, in accordance withYahweh's order to Joshua: Kiriath-Arba, the town of the father of Anak -- that is, Hebron.	13 واعطى كالب بن يفنّة قسما في وسط بني يهوذا حسب قول الرب ليشوع قرية اربع ابي عناق. هي حبرون.
14 Caleb drove out the three sons of Anak: Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai, descended from Anak.	14 وطرد كالب من هناك بني عناق الثلاثة شيشاي واخيمان وتلماي اولاد عناق.
15 From there he marched on the inhabitants of Debir; Debir in olden days was cal ed Kiriath-Sepher.	15 وصعد من هناك الى سكان دبير وكان اسم دبير قبلا قرية سفر.
16 Caleb then said, 'To the man who attacks and takes Kiriath-Sepher, I shal give my daughter Achsahas wife.'	16 وقال كالب. من يضرب قرية سفر ويأخذها اعطيه عكسة ابنتي امرأة.
17 The man who captured it was Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, who gave him his daughterAchsah as wife.	17 فاخذها عثنيئيل بن قناز اخو كالب. فاعطاه عكسة ابنته امرأة.
18 When she arrived, he urged her to ask her father for arable land, but when she alighted from thedonkey and Caleb asked her, 'What is the matter?'	18 وكان عند دخولها انها غرته بطلب حقل من ابيها. فنزلت عن الحمار فقال لها كالب ما لك.
19 she said to him, 'Grant me a blessing! As the land you have given me is the Negeb, give me springsof water too!' So Caleb gave her what she wanted, the upper springs and the lower springs.	19 فقالت اعطني بركة. لانك اعطيتني ارض الجنوب فاعطني ينابيع ماء فاعطاها الينابيع العليا والينابيع السفلى
20 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by clans.	20 هذا نصيب سبط بني يهوذا حسب عشائرهم.
21 Towns at the extremity of the tribe of the sons of Judah, near the frontier of Edom in the Negeb:Kabzeel, Arad, Jagur,	21 وكانت المدن القصوى التي لسبط بني يهوذا الى تخم ادوم جنوبا قبصئيل وعيدر وياجور
22 Kinah, Dimon, Aroer,	22 وقينة وديمونة وعدعدة
23 Kedesh, Hazor-Ithnan,	23 وقادش وحاصور ويثنان
24 Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,	24 وزيف وطالم وبعلوت
25 Hazor-Hadattah, Kiriath-Hezron -- that is, Hazor-	25 وحاصور وحدتّة وقريوت وحصرون. هي حاصور.
26 Amam, Shema, Moladah,	26 وامام وشماع ومولادة
27 Hazar-Gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-Pelet,	27 وحصر جدة وحشمون وبيت فالط
28 Hazar-Shual, Beersheba and its dependencies,	28 وحصر شوعال وبئر سبع وبزيوتية
29 Baalah, Iim, Ezem,	29 وبعلة وعيّيم وعاصم
30 Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,	30 وألتولد وكسيل وحرمة
31 Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,	31 وصقلغ ومدمنة وسنسنة
32 Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain and Rimmon: in al , twenty-nine towns with their vil ages.	32 ولباوت وشلحيم وعين ورمّون. كل المدن تسع وعشرون مع ضياعها
33 In the lowlands: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,	33 في السهل اشتأول وصرعة وأشنة
34 Zanoah, En-Gannim, Tappuah, Enam,	34 وزانوح وعين جنيم وتفوح وعينام
35 Jarmuth, Adul am, Socoh, Azekah,	35 ويرموت وعدلام وسوكوه وعزيقة
36 Shaaraim, Aditaim, Ha-Gederah and Gederothaim: fourteen towns with their vil ages.	36 وشعرايم وعديتايم والجديرة وجديروتايم. اربع عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها
37 Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-Gad,	37 صنان وحداشة ومجدل جاد
38 Dilean, Ha-Mizpeh, Jokteel,	38 ودلعان والمصفاة ويقتيئيل
39 Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,	39 ولخيش وبصقة وعجلون
40 Cabbon, Lahmas, Chitlish,	40 وكبون ولحمام وكتليش
41 Gederoth, Beth-Dagon, Naamah and Makkedah: sixteen towns with their vil ages.	41 وجديروت بيت داجون ونعمة ومقيدة. ست عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها.
42 Libna, Ether, Asham,	42 لبنة وعاتر وعاشان
43 Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,	43 ويفتاح واشنة ونصيب
44 Keilah, Achzib and Mareshah: nine towns with their vil ages.	44 وقعيلة واكزيب ومريشة. تسع مدن مع ضياعها
45 Ekron with its dependencies and its vil ages.	45 عقرون وقراها وضياعها.
46 From Ekron to the sea, everything to the side of Ashdod, with its vil ages.	46 من عقرون غربا كل ما بقرب اشدود وضياعها.
47 Ashdod with its dependencies and its vil ages; Gaza with its dependencies and its vil ages as far asthe Torrent of Egypt, the Great Sea forming the boundary.	47 اشدود وقراها وضياعها وغزة وقراها وضياعها الى وادي مصر والبحر الكبير وتخومه
48 In the highlands: Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,	48 وفي الجبل شامير ويتّير وسوكوه
49 Dannah, Kiriath-Sepher, now Debir,	49 ودنّة وقرية سنّة. هي دبير.
50 Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,	50 وعناب واشتموه وعانيم
51 Goshen, Holon and Giloh: eleven towns with their vil ages.	51 وجوشن وحولون وجيلوه. احدى عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها.
52 Arab, Dumah, Eshan,	52 أراب ودومة واشعان
53 Janum, Beth-Tappuah, Aphekah,	53 وينوم وبيت تفوح وافيقة
54 Humtah, Kiriath-Arba, now Hebron, and Zior: nine towns with their vil ages.	54 وحمطة وقرية اربع. هي حبرون وصيعور. تسع مدن مع ضياعها.
55 Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,	55 معون وكرمل وزيف ويوطة
56 Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,	56 ويزرعيل ويقدعام وزانوح
57 Ha-Kain, Gibeah and Timnah: ten towns with their vil ages.	57 والقاين وجبعة وتمنة. عشر مدن مع ضياعها.
58 Halhul, Beth-Zur, Gedor,	58 حلحول وبيت صور وجدور
59 Maarath, Beth-Anoth and Eltekon: six towns with their vil ages. Tekoa, Ephrathah, now Bethlehem,Peor, Etam, Kulon, Tatam, Sores, Carem, Gallim, Bether and Manach: eleven towns with their vil ages.	59 ومعارة وبيت عنوت والتقون. ست مدن مع ضياعها
60 Kiriath-Baal, that is Kiriath-Jearim, and Rabbah: two towns with their vil ages.	60 قرية بعل. هي قرية يعاريم. والربّة. مدينتان مع ضياعهما
61 In the desert: Beth-Arabah, Middin, Secacah,	61 في البرية بيت العربة ومدّين وسكاكة
62 Nibshan, Salt Town and En-Gedi: six towns with their vil ages.	62 والنبشان ومدينة الملح وعين جدي. ست مدن مع ضياعها.
63 The Jebusites, however, who lived in Jerusalem, the sons of Judah were unable to dispossess, andthe Jebusites stil live in Jerusalem today, side by side with the sons of Judah.	63 واما اليبوسيون الساكنون في اورشليم فلم يقدر بنو يهوذا على طردهم فسكن اليبوسيون مع بني يهوذا في اورشليم الى هذا اليوم
