Psalms 33

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Shout for joy, you upright; praise comes wel from the honest.	1 اهتفوا ايها الصديقون بالرب. بالمستقيمين يليق التسبيح‎.
2 Give thanks to Yahweh on the lyre, play for him on the ten-stringed lyre.	2 ‎احمدوا الرب بالعود. بربابة ذات عشرة اوتار رنموا له‎.
3 Sing to him a new song, make sweet music for your cry of victory.	3 ‎غنوا له اغنية جديدة. احسنوا العزف بهتاف‎.
4 The word of Yahweh is straightforward, al he does springs from his constancy.	4 ‎لان كلمة الرب مستقيمة وكل صنعه بالامانة‎.
5 He loves uprightness and justice; the faithful love of Yahweh fil s the earth.	5 ‎يحب البر والعدل. امتلأت الارض من رحمة الرب‎.
6 By the word of Yahweh the heavens were made, by the breath of his mouth all their array.	6 ‎بكلمة الرب صنعت السموات وبنسمة فيه كل جنودها‎.
7 He collects the waters of the sea like a dam, he stores away the abyss in his treasure-house.	7 ‎يجمع كندّ امواه اليم يجعل اللجج في اهراء‎.
8 Let the whole earth fear Yahweh, let al who dwel in the world revere him;	8 ‎لتخش الرب كل الارض ومنه ليخف كل سكان المسكونة‎.
9 for, the moment he spoke, it was so, no sooner had he commanded, than there it stood!	9 ‎لانه قال فكان. هو أمر فصار‎.
10 Yahweh thwarts the plans of nations, frustrates the counsels of peoples;	10 ‎الرب ابطل مؤامرة الامم. لاشى افكار الشعوب‎.
11 but Yahweh's own plan stands firm for ever, his heart's counsel from age to age.	11 ‎اما مؤامرة الرب فالى الابد تثبت. افكار قلبه الى دور فدور
12 How blessed the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people he has chosen as his heritage.	12 طوبى للامّة التي الرب الهها الشعب الذي اختاره ميراثا لنفسه‎.
13 From heaven Yahweh looks down, he sees al the children of Adam,	13 ‎من السموات نظر الرب. رأى جميع بني البشر‎.
14 from the place where he sits he watches al who dwel on the earth;	14 ‎من مكان سكناه تطلّع الى جميع سكان الارض‎.
15 he alone moulds their hearts, he understands al they do.	15 ‎المصوّر قلوبهم جميعا المنتبه الى كل اعمالهم‎.
16 A large army wil not keep a king safe, nor his strength save a warrior's life;	16 ‎لن يخلص الملك بكثرة الجيش. الجبار لا ينقذ بعظم القوة‎.
17 it is delusion to rely on a horse for safety, for all its power it cannot save.	17 ‎باطل هو الفرس لاجل الخلاص وبشدة قوّته لا ينجّي‎.
18 But see how Yahweh watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his faithful love,	18 ‎هوذا عين الرب على خائفيه الراجين رحمته
19 to rescue them from death and keep them alive in famine.	19 لينجّي من الموت انفسهم وليستحييهم في الجوع
20 We are waiting for Yahweh; he is our help and our shield,	20 انفسنا انتظرت الرب. معونتنا وترسنا هو‎.
21 for in him our heart rejoices, in his holy name we trust.	21 ‎لانه به تفرح قلوبنا لاننا على اسمه القدوس اتكلنا‎.
22 Yahweh, let your faithful love rest on us, as our hope has rested in you.	22 ‎لتكن يا رب رحمتك علينا حسبما انتظرناك
