Psalms 141

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 [Psalm Of David] Yahweh, I am cal ing, hurry to me, listen to my voice when I cal to you.	1 מִזְמֹור לְדָוִד יְהוָה קְרָאתִיךָ חוּשָׁה לִּי הַאֲזִינָה קֹולִי בְּקָרְאִי־לָךְ
2 May my prayer be like incense in your presence, my uplifted hands like the evening sacrifice.	2 תִּכֹּון תְּפִלָּתִי קְטֹרֶת לְפָנֶיךָ מַשְׂאַת כַּפַּי מִנְחַת־עָרֶב
3 Yahweh, mount a guard over my mouth, a guard at the door of my lips.	3 שִׁיתָה יְהוָה שָׁמְרָה לְפִי נִצְּרָה עַל־דַּל שְׂפָתָי
4 Check any impulse to speak evil, to share the foul deeds of evil-doers. I shal not sample theirdelights!	4 אַל־תַּט־לִבִּי לְדָבָר ׀ רָע לְהִתְעֹולֵל עֲלִלֹות ׀ בְּרֶשַׁע אֶת־אִישִׁים פֹּעֲלֵי־אָוֶן וּבַל־אֶלְחַם בְּמַנְעַמֵּיהֶם
5 May the upright correct me with a friend's rebuke; but the wicked shal never anoint my head with oil,for that would make me party to their crimes.	5 יֶהֶלְמֵנִי־צַדִּיק ׀ חֶסֶד וְיֹוכִיחֵנִי שֶׁמֶן רֹאשׁ אַל־יָנִי רֹאשִׁי כִּי־עֹוד וּתְפִלָּתִי בְּרָעֹותֵיהֶם
6 They are delivered into the power of the rock, their judge, those who took pleasure in hearing mesay,	6 נִשְׁמְטוּ בִידֵי־סֶלַע שֹׁפְטֵיהֶם וְשָׁמְעוּ אֲמָרַי כִּי נָעֵמוּ
7 'Like a shattered mil stone on the ground our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.'	7 כְּמֹו פֹלֵחַ וּבֹקֵעַ בָּאָרֶץ נִפְזְרוּ עֲצָמֵינוּ לְפִי שְׁאֹול
8 To you, Yahweh, I turn my eyes, in you I take refuge, do not leave me unprotected.	8 כִּי אֵלֶיךָ ׀ יְהוִה אֲדֹנָי עֵינָי בְּכָה חָסִיתִי אַל־תְּעַר נַפְשִׁי
9 Save me from the traps that are set for me, the snares of evil-doers.	9 שָׁמְרֵנִי מִידֵי פַח יָקְשׁוּ לִי וּמֹקְשֹׁות פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן
10 Let the wicked fal each into his own net, while I pass on my way.	10 יִפְּלוּ בְמַכְמֹרָיו רְשָׁעִים יַחַד אָנֹכִי עַד־אֶעֱבֹור
