1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Rescue me, Yahweh, from evil men, protect me from violentmen,	1 למנצח מזמור לדוד חלצני יהוה מאדם רע מאיש חמסים תנצרני
2 whose heart is bent on malice, day after day they harbour strife;	2 אשר חשבו רעות בלב כל יום יגורו מלחמות
3 their tongues as barbed as a serpent's, viper's venom behind their lips.Pause	3 שננו לשונם כמו נחש חמת עכשוב תחת שפתימו סלה
4 Keep me, Yahweh, from the clutches of the wicked, protect me from violent men, who are bent onmaking me stumble,laying out snares where I walk,	4 שמרני יהוה מידי רשע מאיש חמסים תנצרני אשר חשבו לדחות פעמי
5 in their arrogance hiding pitfal and nooseto trap me as I pass.Pause	5 טמנו גאים פח לי וחבלים פרשו רשת ליד מעגל מקשים שתו לי סלה
6 I said to Yahweh, 'You are my God.' Listen, Yahweh, to the sound of my prayer.	6 אמרתי ליהוה אלי אתה האזינה יהוה קול תחנוני
7 Yahweh my Lord, my saving strength, you shield my head when battle comes.	7 יהוה אדני עז ישועתי סכתה לראשי ביום נשק
8 Yahweh, do not grant the wicked their wishes, do not let their plots succeed.Pause Do not let myattackers	8 אל תתן יהוה מאויי רשע זממו אל תפק ירומו סלה
9 prevail, but let them be overwhelmed by their own malice.	9 ראש מסבי עמל שפתימו יכסומו
10 May red-hot embers rain down on them, may they be flung into the mire once and for all.	10 ימיטו עליהם גחלים באש יפלם במהמרות בל יקומו
11 May the slanderer find no rest anywhere, may evil hunt down violent men implacably.	11 איש לשון בל יכון בארץ איש חמס רע יצודנו למדחפת
12 I know that Yahweh wil give judgement for the wretched, justice for the needy.	12 ידעת כי יעשה יהוה דין עני משפט אבינים
13 The upright shal praise your name, the honest dwel in your presence.	13 אך צדיקים יודו לשמך ישבו ישרים את פניך
