1 Orders of the sons of Aaron: Sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar.	1 Porro filiis Aaron hæ partitiones erant. Filii Aaron : Nadab, et Abiu, et Eleazar, et Ithamar.
2 Nadab and Abihu died in their father's lifetime leaving no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar fil ed theoffice of priest.	2 Mortui sunt autem Nadab et Abiu ante patrem suum absque liberis : sacerdotioque functus est Eleazar, et Ithamar.
3 With Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David allocated themaccording to the classification of their duties.	3 Et divisit eos David, id est, Sadoc de filiis Eleazari, et Ahimelech de filiis Ithamar, secundum vices suas et ministerium.
4 Since the sons of Eleazar were found to have more headmen than the sons of Ithamar, they allocatedsixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar and eight heads of families to the sons of Ithamar.	4 Inventique sunt multo plures filii Eleazar in principibus viris, quam filii Ithamar. Divisit autem eis, hoc est, filiis Eleazar, principes per familias sedecim : et filiis Ithamar per familias et domos suas octo.
5 They al ocated them by lot, both alike, there being religious officials and officials of God among thesons of Eleazar, as among the sons of Ithamar.	5 Porro divisit utrasque inter se familias sortibus : erant enim principes sanctuarii, et principes Dei, tam de filiis Eleazar quam de filiis Ithamar.
6 The levitical scribe Shemaiah son of Nethanel, recorded them in the presence of the king, the leaders,Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar and the heads of the priestly and levitical families, so that twofamilies were selected for Eleazar for each one selected for Ithamar.	6 Descripsitque eos Semeias filius Nathanaël scriba Levites, coram rege et principibus, et Sadoc sacerdote, et Ahimelech filio Abiathar, principibus quoque familiarum sacerdotalium, et Leviticarum : unam domum, quæ ceteris præerat, Eleazar : et alteram domum, quæ sub se habebat ceteros, Ithamar.
7 The first lot fel to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,	7 Exivit autem sors prima Jojarib, secunda Jedei,
8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,	8 tertia Harim, quarta Seorim,
9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,	9 quinta Melchia, sexta Maiman,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,	10 septima Accos, octava Abia,
11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,	11 nona Jesua, decima Sechenia,
12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,	12 undecima Eliasib, duodecima Jacim,
13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Ishbaal,	13 tertiadecima Hoppha, decimaquarta Isbaab,
14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,	14 decimaquinta Belga, decimasexta Emmer,
15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,	15 decimaseptima Hezir, decimaoctava Aphses,
16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,	16 decimanona Pheteia, vigesima Hezechiel,
17 the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,	17 vigesima prima Jachin, vigesima secunda Gamul,
18 the twenty- third to Delaiah and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.	18 vigesima tertia Dalaiau, vigesima quarta Maaziau.
19 These were their classifications for their duties when they entered the House of Yahweh inaccordance with their prescriptions laid down by Aaron their ancestor as Yahweh, God of Israel, hadcommanded him.	19 Hæ vices eorum secundum ministeria sua, ut ingrediantur domum Domini, et juxta ritum suum sub manu Aaron patris eorum, sicut præceperat Dominus Deus Israël.
20 As regards the rest of the sons of Levi: Of the sons of Amram: Shubael. Of the sons of Shubael:Jehdeiah.	20 Porro filiorum Levi qui reliqui fuerant, de filiis Amram erat Subaël, et de filiis Subaël, Jehedeia.
21 As regards Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah: Isshiah, the first one.	21 De filiis quoque Rohobiæ, princeps Jesias.
22 Of the sons of Izhar: Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.	22 Isaari vero filius Salemoth, filiusque Salemoth Jahath :
23 Of the sons of Hebron: Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.	23 filiusque ejus Jeriau primus, Amarias secundus, Jahaziel tertius, Jecmaan quartus.
24 The son of Uzziel was Micah; of the sons of Micah: Shamir.	24 Filius Oziel, Micha : filius Micha, Samir.
25 The brother of Micah was Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.	25 Frater Micha, Jesia : filiusque Jesiæ, Zacharias.
26 The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi; of his sons: Jaaziah his son.	26 Filii Merari : Moholi, et Musi. Filius Oziau : Benno.
27 The sons of Merari by his son Jaaziah were Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri.	27 Filius quoque Merari : Oziau, et Soam, et Zachur, et Hebri.
28 Of Mahli, there was Eleazar who had no sons,	28 Porro Moholi filius, Eleazar, qui non habebat liberos.
29 and Kish; and of the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.	29 Filius vero Cis, Jerameel.
30 The sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth. These were the Levites according to families.	30 Filii Musi : Moholi, Eder et Jerimoth : isti filii Levi secundum domos familiarum suarum.
31 Like their kinsmen, the sons of Aaron, these heads of families, senior and junior alike, also drew lotsin the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the priestly and levitical families.	31 Miseruntque et ipsi sortes contra fratres suos filios Aaron coram David rege, et Sadoc, et Ahimelech, et principibus familiarum sacerdotalium et Leviticarum, tam majores quam minores : omnes sors æqualiter dividebat.
