1 Orders of the sons of Aaron: Sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar.	1 Áron fiainak a következő osztályaik voltak. Áron fiai Nádáb, Ábiu, Eleazár és Itamár voltak,
2 Nadab and Abihu died in their father's lifetime leaving no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar fil ed theoffice of priest.	2 de Nádáb és Ábiu atyjuk előtt haltak meg s nem voltak fiaik, és így Eleazár és Itamár viselték a papságot.
3 With Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David allocated themaccording to the classification of their duties.	3 Ezeket osztotta be tehát Dávid, azaz az Eleazár fiai közül való Szádok és az Itamár fiai közül való Ahimelek, rendjeik és szolgálatuk szerint.
4 Since the sons of Eleazar were found to have more headmen than the sons of Ithamar, they allocatedsixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar and eight heads of families to the sons of Ithamar.	4 Ám Eleazár fiai között sokkal több családfő volt, mint Itamár fiai között. Ezért azoknak, vagyis Eleazár fiainak családjaik szerint tizenhat főembert juttatott, Itamár fiainak pedig, családjaik szerint nyolcat.
5 They al ocated them by lot, both alike, there being religious officials and officials of God among thesons of Eleazar, as among the sons of Ithamar.	5 Sorsvetés által osztotta be mind a két nemzetséget egyaránt, mert Eleazár fiai közül is, meg Itamár fiai közül is voltak vezetői a szenthelynek és megbízottai Isten ügyének.
6 The levitical scribe Shemaiah son of Nethanel, recorded them in the presence of the king, the leaders,Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar and the heads of the priestly and levitical families, so that twofamilies were selected for Eleazar for each one selected for Ithamar.	6 Semeja, Natanael fia, a levita íródeák jegyezte fel őket, a király és a fejedelmek meg Szádok pap és Ahimelek, Abjatár fia, meg a papi és levita családok fejei előtt: egyfelől Eleazár családját, amely a többi felett állott, másfelől Itamár családját, amely alatt a többiek voltak.

24 The son of Uzziel was Micah; of the sons of Micah: Shamir.	24 Oziel fia volt Míka, Míka fiai közül Sámir volt a családfő.

30 The sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth. These were the Levites according to families.	30 Músi fiai voltak: Moholi, Eder és Jerimót. Ezek voltak Lévi fiai, családjaik szerint.
31 Like their kinsmen, the sons of Aaron, these heads of families, senior and junior alike, also drew lotsin the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the priestly and levitical families.	31 Ezek is sorsot vetettek, mint ahogy a testvéreik, Áron fiai, Dávid király előtt és Szádok, Ahimelek, s a papi és levita családok fejei előtt, mind az idősebbek, mind a fiatalabbak: sorsvetés által osztották be egyaránt valamennyit.
