1 Orders of the sons of Aaron: Sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar.	1 Classes des fils d'Aaron: fils d'Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eléazar et Itamar.

3 With Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David allocated themaccording to the classification of their duties.	3 David les répartit en classes, ainsi que Sadoq, l'un des fils d'Eléazar, et Ahimélek, l'un desfils d'Itamar, et les recensa selon leurs services.
4 Since the sons of Eleazar were found to have more headmen than the sons of Ithamar, they allocatedsixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar and eight heads of families to the sons of Ithamar.	4 Les fils d'Eléazar se trouvèrent avoir plus de chefs de preux que les fils d'Itamar; on formaseize classes avec les chefs de famille des fils d'Eléazar et huit avec les chefs de famille des fils d'Itamar.

7 The first lot fel to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,	7 Yehoyarib fut le premier sur qui tomba le sort, Yedaya le second,
8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,	8 Harim le troisième, Séorim le quatrième,
9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,	9 Malkiyya le cinquième, Miyyamîn le sixième,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,	10 Haqqoç le septième, Abiyya le huitième,
11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,	11 Yéshua le neuvième, Shekanyahu le dixième,
12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,	12 Elyashib le onzième, Yaqim le douzième,

19 These were their classifications for their duties when they entered the House of Yahweh inaccordance with their prescriptions laid down by Aaron their ancestor as Yahweh, God of Israel, hadcommanded him.	19 Tels sont ceux qui furent recensés selon leur service, pour entrer dans le Temple de Yahvé,conformément à leur règle, règle transmise par Aaron, leur père, comme le lui avait prescrit Yahvé, Dieud'Israël.

22 Of the sons of Izhar: Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.	22 Pour les Yiçharites, Shelomot; pour les fils de Shelomot, Yahat.

31 Like their kinsmen, the sons of Aaron, these heads of families, senior and junior alike, also drew lotsin the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the priestly and levitical families.	31 Comme les fils d'Aaron, leurs frères, ils tirèrent au sort en présence du roi David, de Sadoq,d'Ahimélek, et des chefs de familles sacerdotales et lévitiques, les premières familles comme les plus petites.
