NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.	1 هؤلاء بنو اسرائيل. رأوبين شمعون لاوي ويهوذا يساكر وزبولون
2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.	2 دان يوسف وبنيامين نفتالي جاد واشير.
3 Sons of Judah: Er, Onan and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanitewoman. Er, Judah's first-born, displeased Yahweh who put him to death.	3 بنو يهوذا عير واونان وشيلة. ولد الثلاثة من بنت شوع الكنعانية. وكان عير بكر يهوذا شريرا في عيني الرب فاماته.
4 Tamar, Judah's daughter-in-law, bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in al .	4 وثامار كنته ولدت له فارص وزارح. كل بني يهوذا خمسة.
5 Sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.	5 ابنا فارص حصرون وحامول.
6 Sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol and Dara, five in all.	6 وبنو زارح زمري وايثان وهيمان وكلكول ودارع. الجميع خمسة.
7 Sons of Carmi: Achar, who brought trouble on Israel by being unfaithful to the curse of destruction.	7 وابن كرمي عخار مكدّر اسرائيل الذي خان في الحرام.
8 Sons of Ethan: Azariah.	8 وابن ايثان عزريا.
9 Sons of Hezron: there were born to him Jerahmeel, Ram, Chelubai.	9 وبنو حصرون الذين ولدوا له يرحمئيل ورام وكلوباي.
10 Ram fathered Amminadab, Amminadab fathered Nahshon chief of the sons of Judah,	10 ورام ولد عمّيناداب وعمّيناداب ولد نحشون رئيس بني يهوذا
11 Nahshon fathered Salma, Salma fathered Boaz.	11 ونحشون ولد سلمو وسلمو ولد بوعز
12 Boaz fathered Obed, Obed fathered Jesse.	12 وبوعز ولد عوبيد وعوبيد ولد يسّى.
13 Jesse fathered Eliab, his first-born, Abinadab second, Shimea third,	13 ويسّى ولد بكره اليآب وابيناداب الثاني وشمعى الثالث
14 Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,	14 ونثنئيل الرابع وردّاي الخامس
15 Ozem sixth, David seventh.	15 واوصم السادس وداود السابع.
16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab and Asahel: three.	16 واختاهم صروية وابيجايل. وبنو صروية ابشاي ويوآب وعسائيل ثلاثة.
17 Abigail gave birth to Amasa; father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.	17 وابيجايل ولدت عماسا وابو عماسا يثر الاسمعيلي
18 Caleb son of Hezron fathered Jerioth by Azubah his wife; these are her sons: Jesher, Shobab andArdon.	18 وكالب بن حصرون ولد من عزوبة امرأته ومن يريعوث. وهؤلاء بنوها ياشر وشوباب واردون.
19 Azubah died, and Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.	19 وماتت عزوبة فاتخذ كالب لنفسه أفرات فولدت له حور.
20 Hur fathered Uri, Uri fathered Bezalel.	20 وحور ولد اوري واوري ولد بصلئيل.
21 Afterwards, Hezron married the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead; he married her when he wassixty years old and she bore him Segub.	21 وبعد دخل حصرون على بنت ماكير ابي جلعاد واتخذها وهو ابن ستين سنة فولدت له سجوب.
22 Segub fathered Jair who held twenty-three towns in the territory of Gilead.	22 وسجوب ولد يائير وكان له ثلاث وعشرون مدينة في ارض جلعاد.
23 From them, however, Geshur and Aram took the Encampments of Jair and Kenath with itsdependencies: sixty towns. All these used to belong to the sons of Machir father of Gilead.	23 واخذ جشور وارام حوّوث يائير منهم مع قناة وقراها ستين مدينة. كل هؤلاء بنو ماكير ابي جلعاد.
24 After Hezron's death, Caleb married Ephrathah, wife of Hezron his father, who bore him Ashhur fatherof Tekoa.	24 وبعد وفاة حصرون في كالب افراتة ولدت له ابيّاه امرأة حصرون اشحور ابا تقوع
25 Jerahmeel, Hezron's eldest son, fathered Hezron, his first-born, Ram, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, Ahijah.	25 وكان بنو يرحمئيل بكر حصرون البكر رام ثم بونة واورن واوصم واخيّا.
26 Jerahmeel had another wife called Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.	26 وكانت امرأة اخرى ليرحمئيل اسمها عطارة. هي ام اونام.
27 Sons of Ram, Jerahmeel's first-born: Maaz, Jamin and Eker.	27 وكان بنو رام بكر يرحمئيل معص ويمين وعاقر.
28 Sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. Sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.	28 وكان ابنا اونام شمّاي وياداع. وابنا شمّاي ناداب وابيشور.
29 Abishur's wife was cal ed Abihail; she bore him Ahban and Molid.	29 واسم امرأة ابيشور ابيحايل وولدت له احبان وموليد.
30 Sons of Nadab: Seled and Ephraim. Seled died leaving no son.	30 وابنا ناداب سلد وافّايم. ومات سلد بلا بنين.
31 Son of Ephraim: Ishi; son of Ishi: Sheshan; son of Sheshan: Ahlai.	31 وابن افّايم يشعي وابن يشعي شيشان وابن شيشان احلاي.
32 Sons of Jada, Shammai's brother: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died leaving no sons.	32 وابنا ياداع اخي شمّاي يثر ويوناثان. ومات يثر بلا بنين.
33 Sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.	33 وابنا يوناثان فالت وزازا. هؤلاء هم بنو يرحمئيل.
34 Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. He had an Egyptian slave Jarha	34 ولم يكن لشيشان بنون بل بنات. وكان لشيشان عبد مصري اسمه يرحع.
35 to whom Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage. She bore him Attai.	35 فاعطى شيشان ابنته ليرحع عبده امرأة فولدت له عتّاي.
36 Attai fathered Nathan, Nathan fathered Zabad,	36 وعتّاي ولد ناثان وناثان ولد زاباد
37 Zabad fathered Ephlal, Ephlal fathered Obed,	37 وزاباد ولد افلال وافلال ولد عوبيد
38 Obed fathered Jehu, Jehu fathered Azariah,	38 وعوبيد ولد ياهو وياهو ولد عزريا
39 Azariah fathered Helez, Helez fathered Eleasah,	39 وعزريا ولد حالص وحالص ولد إلعاسة
40 Eleasah fathered Sismai, Sismai fathered Shal um,	40 وإلعاسة ولد سسماي وسسماي ولد شلّوم
41 Shallum fathered Jekamiah, Jekamiah fathered Elishama.	41 وشلّوم ولد يقمية ويقمية ولد اليشمع
42 Sons of Caleb, Jerahmeel's brother: Mesha, his first-born, who fathered Ziph. His son was Mareshah,father of Hebron.	42 وبنو كالب اخي يرحمئيل ميشاع بكره. هو ابو زيف. وبنو مريشة ابي حبرون.
43 Sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem and Shema.	43 وبنو حبرون قورح وتفّوح وراقم وشامع.
44 Shema fathered Raham, father of Jorkeam. Rekem fathered Shammai.	44 وشامع ولد راقم ابا يرقعا. وراقم ولد شمّاي.
45 Shammai's son was Maon, and Maon fathered Beth-Zur.	45 وابن شمّاي معون ومعون ابو بيت صور.
46 Ephah, Caleb's concubine, gave birth to Haran, Moza and Gazez. Haran fathered Gazez.	46 وعيفة سرية كالب ولدت حاران وموصا وجازيز. وحاران ولد جازيز.
47 Sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah and Shaaph.	47 وبنو يهداي رجم ويوثام وجيشان وفلط وعيفة وشاعف.
48 Maacah, Caleb's concubine, gave birth to Sheber and Tirhanah.	48 واما معكة سرية كالب فولدت شبر وترحنة.
49 She gave birth to Shaaph, who fathered Madmannah, and Sheva, who fathered Machbenah andGibea. The daughter of Caleb was Achsah.	49 وولدت شاعف ابا مدمنّة وشوا ابا مكبينا وابا جبعا. وبنت كالب عكسة
50 These were the sons of Caleb. Sons of Hur, the first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal fathered Kiriath-Jearim;	50 هؤلاء هم بنو كالب بن حور بكر افراتة. شوبال ابو قرية يعاريم
51 Salma fathered Bethlehem; Hareph fathered Beth-Gader.	51 وسلما ابو بيت لحم وحاريف ابو بيت جادير.
52 Shobal, father of Kiriath-Jearim, had sons: Haroeh, that is, half of the Manahathites,	52 وكان لشوبال ابي قرية يعاريم بنون هرواه وحصي همّنوحوت
53 and the clans of Kiriath-Jearim: the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites and Mishraites. Their descendantsare the people of Zorah and Eshtaol.	53 وعشائر قرية يعاريم اليثري والفوتي والشماتي والمشراعي. من هؤلاء خرج الصرعي والاشتاولي.
54 Sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth-Joab, half of the Manahathites, theZorathites,	54 بنو سلما بيت لحم والنطوفاتي وعطروت بيت يوآب وحصي المنوحي الصرعي.
55 the Sophrite clans living at Jabez, the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. They were theKenites descended from Hammath, father of the House of Rechab.	55 وعشائر الكتبة سكان يعبيص ترعاتيم وشمعاتيم وسوكاتيم. هم القينيون الخارجون من حمّة ابي بيت ركاب
