14 Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,	14 quartum Nathanael, quintum Raddai,
15 Ozem sixth, David seventh.	15 sextum Asom, septimum David.

19 Azubah died, and Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.	19 Cumque mortua fuisset Azuba, accepit uxorem Chaleb Ephratha, quae peperit ei Hur.
20 Hur fathered Uri, Uri fathered Bezalel.	20 Porro Hur genuit Uri, et Uri genuit Beseleel.
21 Afterwards, Hezron married the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead; he married her when he wassixty years old and she bore him Segub.	21 Post haec ingressus est Esrom ad filiam Machir patris Galaad et accepit eam, cum ipse esset annorum sexaginta; quae peperit ei Segub.
22 Segub fathered Jair who held twenty-three towns in the territory of Gilead.	22 Sed et Segub genuit Iair, qui possedit viginti tres civitates in terra Galaad.
23 From them, however, Geshur and Aram took the Encampments of Jair and Kenath with itsdependencies: sixty towns. 25 Jerahmeel, Hezron's eldest son, fathered Hezron, his first-born, Ram, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, Ahijah.	25 Nati sunt autem filii Ierameel primogeniti Esrom: Ram primogenitus eius et Buna et Aran et Asom et Ahia.
26 Jerahmeel had another wife called Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.	26 Duxit quoque uxorem alteram Ierameel nomine Atara, quae fuit mater Onam.
27 Sons of Ram, Jerahmeel's first-born: Maaz, Jamin and Eker.	27 Sed et filii Ram primogeniti Ierameel fuerunt: Moos et Iamin et Acar.

31 Son of Ephraim: Ishi; son of Ishi: Sheshan; son of Sheshan: Ahlai.	31 Filius vero Apphaim: Iesi, qui Iesi genuit Sesan; porro Sesan genuit Oholai.
32 Sons of Jada, Shammai's brother: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died leaving no sons.	32 Filii autem Iada fratris Semmei: Iether et Ionathan; sed et Iether mortuus est absque liberis.
33 Sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.	33 Porro Ionathan genuit Phaleth et Ziza. Isti fuerunt filii Ierameel.
34 Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. He had an Egyptian slave Jarha	34 Sesan autem non habuit filios sed filias et servum Aegyptium nomine Ieraa;

39 Azariah fathered Helez, Helez fathered Eleasah,	39 Azarias genuit Helles, Helles genuit Elasa.
40 Eleasah fathered Sismai, Sismai fathered Shal um,	40 Elasa genuit Sisamoi, Sisamoi genuit Sellum;
41 Shallum fathered Jekamiah, Jekamiah fathered Elishama.	41 Sellum genuit Iecemiam, Iecemias genuit Elisama.
42 Sons of Caleb, Jerahmeel's brother: Mesha, his first-born, who fathered Ziph. His son was Mareshah,father of Hebron.	42 Filii autem Chaleb fratris Ierameel: Mesa primogenitus eius, ipse est pater Ziph; et filius eius Maresa pater Hebron.
43 Sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem and Shema.	43 Porro filii Hebron: Core et Thapphua et Recem et Samma;
44 Shema fathered Raham, father of Jorkeam. Rekem fathered Shammai.	44 Samma autem genuit Raham patrem Iercaam, et Recem genuit Sammai.

52 Shobal, father of Kiriath-Jearim, had sons: Haroeh, that is, half of the Manahathites,	52 Fuerunt autem filii Sobal patris Cariathiarim Raaia, dimidium Manahat

55 the Sophrite clans living at Jabez, the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. They were theKenites descended from Hammath, father of the House of Rechab.	55 cognationes quoque de Cariathsepher habitantes in Iabes: Therathaei, Semathaei et Suchathaei.
