NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 These are the descendants of Noah's sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, to whom sons were born afterthe flood:	1 Questa è la posterità dei figli di Noè: Sem, Cam e lafet, ai quali nacquero dei figlioli dopo il diluvio.
2 Japheth's sons: Gomer, Magog, the Medes, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.	2 Figli di Iafet: Corner, Magog, Madai, Iavan, Tubal, Mosoc e Tiras.
3 Gomer's sons: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah.	3 Figli di Gomer: Ascenez, Rifat e Togorma.
4 Javan's sons: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, the Dananites.	4 Figli di Ivaan: Elisa, Tarsis, Cettim e Dodanim.
5 From these came the dispersal to the islands of the nations. These were Japheth's sons, in theirrespective countries, each with its own language, by clan and nation.	5 E questi si divisero le isole delle genti nelle diverse regioni, ciascuno secondo la loro lingua e famiglia e nazione.
6 Ham's sons: Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan.	6 Figli di Cam: Cus, Mesraim, Fut e Canaan.
7 Cush's sons: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabteca. Raamah's sons: Sheba, Dedan.	7 Figli di Cus: Saba, Evila, Sabata, Regina e Sabataca. Figli di Regina: Saba e Dadan.
8 Cush fathered Nimrod who was the first potentate on earth.	8 Cus generò anche Nemtod, il quale cominciò ad esser potente sulla terra.
9 He was a mighty hunter in the eyes of Yahweh, hence the saying, 'Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter in theeyes of Yahweh'.	9 Egli fu gran cacciatore nel cospetto del Signore, tanto che ne nacque il proverbio: « Gran cacciatore nel cospetto del Signore come Nemrod ».
10 The mainstays of his empire were Babel, Erech and Accad, all of them in the land of Shinar.	10 Principio del suo regno fu Babilonia, Arac, Achad e Calanne, nella terra di Sennaar.
11 From this country came Asshur, and he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,	11 Dalla qual terra andò in Assiria, ove edificò Ninive, le piazze della città e Chale,

19 The Canaanite frontier stretched from Sidon al the way to Gerar near Gaza, and al the way toSodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboi m near Lesha.	19 E i confini di Canaan andarono da Sidone, verso Gerara, fino a Gaza, e, verso Sodoma e Gomorra e Adama e Seboim, fino a Lesa.
20 These were Ham's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.	20 Questi sono i figlioli di Cam, secondo le loro famiglie, le lingue, le generazioni, i paesi e le nazioni.
21 Shem too fathered sons, being ancestor of all the sons of Eber and Japheth's elder brother.	21 Anche a Sem, padre di tutti i figlioli di Eber, e fratello maggiore di Iafet, nacquero dei figli.
22 Shem's sons: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram.	22 Figli di Sem: Elam, Assur, Arfaxad, Lud e Aram.

25 To Eber were born two sons: the first was cal ed Peleg, because it was in his time that the earth wasdivided, and his brother was called Joktan.	25 E da Eber nacquero due figlioli: uno si chiamò Faleg, perchè a suo tempo fu divisa la terra; e il fratello di lui ebbe nome Iectan.
26 Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,	26 E Iectan generò Elmodad, Salef, Asarmot, Lare,
27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,	27 Aduram, Uzal, Decla,
28 Obal, Abima-El, Sheba,	28 Ebal, Abimael, Saba,
29 Ophir, Havilah, Jobab; al these were sons of Joktan.	29 Otir, Evila, Iobab. Tutti questi sono i figlioli di Iectan;
30 They occupied a stretch of country from Mesha all the way to Sephar, the eastern mountain range.	30 ed il paese che abitarono si estende da Messa a Sefar, al monte orientale.
31 These were Shem's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.	31 Questi sono i figli di Sem secondo le loro famiglie, lingue, paesi e nazioni.
32 Such were the clans of Noah's descendants, listed by descent and nation. From them, other nationsbranched out on earth after the flood.	32 Queste sono le famiglie di Noè secondo i loro popoli e le loro nazioni, dalle quali uscirono le diverse nazioni della terra dopo il diluvio.
