NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 These are the descendants of Noah's sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, to whom sons were born afterthe flood:	1 Eis a posteridade dos filhos de Noé: Sem, Cam e Jefet. Estes tiveram filhos depois do dilúvio.
2 Japheth's sons: Gomer, Magog, the Medes, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.	2 Filhos de Jafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Mosoc e Tiras.
3 Gomer's sons: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah.	3 Filhos de Gomer: Ascenez, Rifat e Togorma.
4 Javan's sons: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, the Dananites.	4 Filhos de Javã: Elisa e Társis, Cetim e Dodanim.
5 From these came the dispersal to the islands of the nations. These were Japheth's sons, in theirrespective countries, each with its own language, by clan and nation.	5 Destes saíram os povos dispersos nas ilhas das nações, em seus diversos países, cada um segundo sua língua e segundo suas famílias e suas nações.
6 Ham's sons: Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan.	6 Filhos de Cam: Cus, Mesraim, Fut e Canaã.
7 Cush's sons: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabteca. Raamah's sons: Sheba, Dedan.	7 Filhos de Cus: Saba, Hevila, Sabata, Regma e Sabataca. Filhos de Regma: Saba e Dadã.
8 Cush fathered Nimrod who was the first potentate on earth.	8 Cus gerou Nemrod, que foi o primeiro homem poderoso da terra.
9 He was a mighty hunter in the eyes of Yahweh, hence the saying, 'Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter in theeyes of Yahweh'.	9 Ele foi um grande caçador diante do Senhor. Donde a expressão: "Como Nemrod, grande caçador diante do Eterno."
10 The mainstays of his empire were Babel, Erech and Accad, all of them in the land of Shinar.	10 Ele estabeleceu o seu reino primeiramente em Babilônia, Arac, Acad e em Calane, na terra de Senaar.
11 From this country came Asshur, and he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,	11 Daí foi para Assur e construiu Nínive, Recobot-Ir, Cale

17 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,	17 os heveus, os araceus, os sineus,

21 Shem too fathered sons, being ancestor of all the sons of Eber and Japheth's elder brother.	21 Nasceram também filhos a Sem, pai de todos os filhos de Heber, e irmão mais velho de Jafet.
22 Shem's sons: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram.	22 Filhos de Sem: Elão, Assur, Arfaxad, Lud e Arão.
23 Aram's sons: Uz, Hul, Gether and Mash.	23 Filhos de Arão: Us, Hul, Geter e Mes.
24 Arpachshad fathered Shelah, and Shelah fathered Eber.	24 Arfaxad gerou Salé, Salé gerou Heber.
25 To Eber were born two sons: the first was cal ed Peleg, because it was in his time that the earth wasdivided, and his brother was called Joktan.	25 Heber teve dois filhos: um se chamava Faleg, porque no seu tempo a terra foi dividida, e o outro se chamava Jetã.
26 Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,	26 Jetã gerou Elmodad, Salef, Asarmot, Jaré,
27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,	27 Adurão, Uzal, Decla,
28 Obal, Abima-El, Sheba,	28 Ebal, Abimael, Saba,
29 Ophir, Havilah, Jobab; al these were sons of Joktan.	29 Ofir, Hevila e Jobab. Estes são os filhos de Jetã.
30 They occupied a stretch of country from Mesha all the way to Sephar, the eastern mountain range.	30 A terra que eles habitavam se estendia desde Mesa, na direção de Sefar, até a montanha do Oriente.
31 These were Shem's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.	31 Estes são os filhos de Sem, segundo suas famílias, segundo suas línguas, em seus diversos países e suas nações.
32 Such were the clans of Noah's descendants, listed by descent and nation. From them, other nationsbranched out on earth after the flood.	32 Tais são as famílias dos filhos de Noé, segundo suas gerações e suas nações. É dele que descendem as nações que se espalharam sobre a terra depois do dilúvio.
