NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 These are the descendants of Noah's sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, to whom sons were born afterthe flood:	1 وهذه مواليد بني نوح. سام وحام ويافث. وولد لهم بنون بعد الطوفان.
2 Japheth's sons: Gomer, Magog, the Medes, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.	2 بنو يافث جومر وماجوج وماداي وياوان وتوبال وماشك وتيراس.
3 Gomer's sons: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah.	3 وبنو جومر اشكناز وريفاث وتوجرمة.
4 Javan's sons: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim, the Dananites.	4 وبنو ياوان أليشة وترشيش وكتّيم ودودانيم.
5 From these came the dispersal to the islands of the nations. These were Japheth's sons, in theirrespective countries, each with its own language, by clan and nation.	5 من هؤلاء تفرقت جزائر الامم باراضيهم كل انسان كلسانه حسب قبائلهم باممهم
6 Ham's sons: Cush, Mizraim, Put, Canaan.	6 وبنو حام كوش ومصرايم وفوط وكنعان.
7 Cush's sons: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabteca. Raamah's sons: Sheba, Dedan.	7 وبنو كوش سبا وحويلة وسبتة ورعمة وسبتكا. وبنو رعمة شبا وددان.
8 Cush fathered Nimrod who was the first potentate on earth.	8 وكوش ولد نمرود الذي ابتدأ يكون جبارا في الارض.
9 He was a mighty hunter in the eyes of Yahweh, hence the saying, 'Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter in theeyes of Yahweh'.	9 الذي كان جبار صيد امام الرب. لذلك يقال كنمرود جبار صيد امام الرب.
10 The mainstays of his empire were Babel, Erech and Accad, all of them in the land of Shinar.	10 وكان ابتداء مملكته بابل وآرك واكّد وكلنة في ارض شنعار.
11 From this country came Asshur, and he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,	11 من تلك الارض خرج اشور وبنى نينوى ورحوبوث عير وكالح
12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (this being the capital).	12 ورسن بين نينوى وكالح. هي المدينة الكبيرة.
13 Mizraim fathered the people of Lud, of Anam, Lehab, Naphtuh,	13 ومصرايم ولد لوديم وعناميم ولهابيم ونفتوحيم
14 Pathros, Casluh and Caphtor, from which the Philistines came.	14 وفتروسيم وكسلوحيم. الذين خرج منهم فلشتيم وكفتوريم.
15 Canaan fathered Sidon, his first-born, then Heth,	15 وكنعان ولد صيدون بكره وحثّا
16 and the Jebusites, the Amorites, Girgashites,	16 واليبوسي والاموري والجرجاشيّ
17 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,	17 والحّويّ والعرقيّ والسّينيّ
18 Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. Later, the Canaanite clans spread out.	18 والأرواديّ والصّماريّ والحماثيّ. وبعد ذلك تفرقت قبائل الكنعاني.
19 The Canaanite frontier stretched from Sidon al the way to Gerar near Gaza, and al the way toSodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboi m near Lesha.	19 وكانت تخوم الكنعاني من صيدون حينما تجيء نحو جرار الى غزّة وحينما تجيء نحو سدوم وعمورة وأدمة وصبوييم الى لاشع.
20 These were Ham's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.	20 هؤلاء بنو حام حسب قبائلهم كالسنتهم باراضيهم واممهم
21 Shem too fathered sons, being ancestor of all the sons of Eber and Japheth's elder brother.	21 وسام ابو كل بني عابر اخو يافث الكبير ولد له ايضا بنون.
22 Shem's sons: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram.	22 بنو سام عيلام واشور وارفكشاد ولود وارام.
23 Aram's sons: Uz, Hul, Gether and Mash.	23 وبنو ارام عوص وحول وجاثر وماش.
24 Arpachshad fathered Shelah, and Shelah fathered Eber.	24 وارفكشاد ولد شالح وشالح ولد عابر.
25 To Eber were born two sons: the first was cal ed Peleg, because it was in his time that the earth wasdivided, and his brother was called Joktan.	25 ولعابر ولد ابنان . ‎اسم الواحد فالج لان في ايامه قسمت الارض. واسم اخيه يقطان.
26 Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,	26 ويقطان ولد ألموداد وشالف وحضرموت ويارح
27 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,	27 وهدورام واوزال ودقلة
28 Obal, Abima-El, Sheba,	28 وعوبال وأبيمايل وشبا
29 Ophir, Havilah, Jobab; al these were sons of Joktan.	29 وأوفير وحويلة ويوباب. جميع هؤلاء بنو يقطان.
30 They occupied a stretch of country from Mesha all the way to Sephar, the eastern mountain range.	30 وكان مسكنهم من ميشا حينما تجيء نحو سفار جبل المشرق.
31 These were Shem's sons, by clans and languages, by countries and nations.	31 هؤلاء بنو سام حسب قبائلهم كالسنتهم باراضيهم حسب اممهم
32 Such were the clans of Noah's descendants, listed by descent and nation. From them, other nationsbranched out on earth after the flood.	32 هؤلاء قبائل بني نوح حسب مواليدهم باممهم. ومن هؤلاء تفرقت الامم في الارض بعد الطوفان
