2 Shepherd of Israel, listen, guide of the flock of Joseph! From your throne upon the cherubim reveal yourself	2 Pastor de Israel, escucha, tú que guías a José como un rebaño; tú que estás sentado entre querubes, resplandece
3 to Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Stir up your power, come to save us.	3 ante Efraím, Benjamín y Manasés; ¡despierta tu poderío, y ven en nuestro auxilio!
4 O LORD of hosts, restore us; Let your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.	4 ¡Oh Dios, haznos volver, y que brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
5 LORD of hosts, how long will you burn with anger while your people pray?	5 ¿Hasta cuándo, oh Yahveh Dios Sebaot, estarás airado contra la plegaria de tu pueblo?
6 You have fed them the bread of tears, made them drink tears in abundance.	6 Les das a comer un pan de llanto les haces beber lágrimas al triple;
7 You have left us to be fought over by our neighbors; our enemies deride us.	7 habladuría nos haces de nuestros convecinos, y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros.
8 O LORD of hosts, restore us; let your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.	8 ¡Oh Dios Sebaot, haznos volver, y brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
9 You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove away the nations and planted it.	9 Una viña de Egipto arrancaste, expulsaste naciones para plantarla a ella,
10 You cleared the ground; it took root and filled the land.	10 le preparaste el suelo, y echó raíces y llenó la tierra.
11 The mountains were covered by its shadow, the cedars of God by its branches.	11 Su sombra cubría las montañas, sus pámpanos los cedros de Dios;
12 It sent out boughs as far as the sea, shoots as far as the river.	12 extendía sus sarmientos hasta el mar, hasta el Río sus renuevos.
13 Why have you broken down the walls, so that all who pass by pluck its fruit?	13 ¿Por qué has hecho brecha en sus tapias, para que todo el que pasa por el camino la vendimie,
14 The boar from the forest strips the vine; the beast of the field feeds upon it.	14 el jabalí salvaje la devaste, y la pele el ganado de los campos?
15 Turn again, LORD of hosts; look down from heaven and see; Attend to this vine,	15 ¡Oh Dios Sebaot, vuélvete ya, desde los cielos mira y ve, visita a esta viña,
16 the shoot your right hand has planted.	16 cuídala, a ella, la que plantó tu diestra!
17 Those who would burn or cut it down-- may they perish at your rebuke.	17 ¡Los que fuego le prendieron, cual basura, a la amenaza de tu faz perezcan!
18 May your help be with the man at your right hand, with the one whom you once made strong.	18 Esté tu mano sobre el hombre de tu diestra, sobre el hijo de Adán que para ti fortaleciste.
19 Then we will not withdraw from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.	19 Ya no volveremos a apartarnos de ti; nos darás vida y tu nombre invocaremos.
20 LORD of hosts, restore us; let your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.	20 ¡Oh Yahveh, Dios Sebaot, haznos volver, y que brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
