1 Провідникові хору. На мелодію «Мут лаббен».	1 [For the choirmaster On oboe and harp Psalm Of David] I thank you, Yahweh, with my whole heart, Irecount al your wonders,
2 Славитиму тебе, о Господи, усім моїм серцем, розповім про всі чуда твої.	2 I rejoice and delight in you, I sing to your name, Most High.
3 Я буду радуватися й веселитися з-за тебе, оспівуватиму ім’я твоє, Всевишній.	3 My enemies are in retreat, they stumble and perish at your presence,
4 Бо вороги мої назад повернулись, спіткнулися, зникли з-перед лиця твого.	4 for you have given fair judgement in my favour, seated on your throne as upright judge.
5 Бо ти взяв в оборону мій суд і мою справу, возсівши на престолі. Суддя справедливий.	5 You have rebuked the nations, destroyed the wicked, blotted out their name for ever and ever;
6 Скартав єси народи, знищив нечестивця, їхнє ім’я стер ти навік-віки.	6 the enemy is wiped out -- mere ruins for ever -- you have annihilated their cities, their memory hasperished. See,
7 Ворог охляв, руїна його вічна; ти міста понищив: пам’ять по них пропала.	7 Yahweh is enthroned for ever, keeping his throne firm for judgement;
8 А Господь повік перебуває, він свій престол поставив для суду.	8 he wil himself judge the world in uprightness, wil give a true verdict on the nations.
9 І правдою судитиме вселенну, і народи розсудить справедливо.	9 May Yahweh be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble!
10 Пригнобленому Господь буде захистом, і пристановищем у час скрути.	10 Those who revere your name can rely on you, you never desert those who seek you, Yahweh.
11 І уповатимуть на тебе, хто знає твоє ім’я, бо ти, о Господи, не покидаєш тих, що тебе шукають.	11 Sing to Yahweh who dwel s in Zion, tel the nations his mighty deeds,
12 Співайте Господеві, що сидить на Сіоні, звіщайте між народами діла його величні.	12 for the avenger of blood does not forget them, he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.
13 Бо месник крови їх пам’ятає, і не забув він крику вбогих.	13 Have pity on me, Yahweh, see my affliction, pull me back from the gates of death,
14 Помилуй мене, Господи; зглянься над лихом, що завдають мені мої ненависники, ти, що мене рятуєш від брам смерти,	14 that I may recount al your praises at the gates of the daughter of Zion and rejoice in your salvation.
15 щоб я оповістив усю твою хвалу в брамі доньки Сіону і тішився твоїм спасінням.	15 The nations have fal en into the trap they made, their feet caught in the snare they laid.
16 Народи провалилися в яму, що самі зробили; у сіті, що порозставляли, запуталась нога їх.	16 Yahweh has made himself known, given judgement, he has ensnared the wicked in the work of theirown hands.Muted music Pause
17 Господь явив себе, суд учинив; у творі рук своїх заплутався безбожник.	17 May the wicked turn away to Sheol, al the nations forgetful of God.
18 Нехай безбожники зійдуть до Шеолу, усі ті народи, що забули Бога.	18 For the needy is not forgotten for ever, not for ever does the hope of the poor come to nothing.
19 Бож не назавжди буде забутий бідний, не пропаде навік надія вбогих.	19 Arise, Yahweh; human strength shal not prevail. The nations shal stand trial before you.
20 Встань, Господи, щоб не подолав смертний; нехай народи на суд перед тобою стануть.	20 Strike them with terror, Yahweh; the nations shall know that they are no more than human!Pause
21 Нажени, Господи, страх на них, щоб народи знали, що вони — люди.
