¹ Al eluia! Praise Yahweh from the heavens, praise him in the heights.	¹ Alleluia. Lodate Dio. Lodate il Signore voi, che state ne' cieli: lodatelo voi, che siete ne' luoghi altissimi.
² Praise him, all his angels, praise him, al his host!	² Lodatelo voi tutti Angeli suoi: lodatelo tutti voi sue milizie.
³ Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, al shining stars,	³ Lodatelo voi sole, e luna; voi stelle, tu luce, lodatelo,
⁴ praise him, highest heavens, praise him, waters above the heavens.	⁴ Lodatelo voi, o cieli de' cieli, e le acque tutte, che son sopra de' cieli lodino il nome del Signore.
⁵ Let them praise the name of Yahweh at whose command they were made;	⁵ Perocché egli parlò, e furon fatte le cose, ordinò, e furon create.
⁶ he established them for ever and ever by an unchanging decree.	⁶ Le ha stabilite per essere in eterno, per tutti i secoli: fissò un ordine, che non sarà trasgredito.
⁷ Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea-monsters and all the depths,	⁷ Date laude al Signore voi, che abitate la terra, voi dragoni, e voi tutti, o abissi.
⁸ fire and hail, snow and mist, storm-winds that obey his word,	⁸ Tu fuoco, tu grandine, tu neve, tu ghiaccio, tu vento procelloso: voi, che ubbidite alla sua parola.
⁹ mountains and every hill, orchards and every cedar,	⁹ Voi monti, e voi tutte, o colline, piante fruttifere, e voi tutti, o cedri.
¹⁰ wild animals and al cattle, reptiles and winged birds,	¹⁰ Voi tutte bestie selvagge, e domestiche: voi serpenti, e voi pennuti sugelli.
¹¹ kings of the earth and al nations, princes and all judges on earth,	¹¹ Regi della terra, e popoli tutti, principi tutti, e giudici della terra.
¹² young men and girls, old people and children together.	¹² I giovanetti, e le vergini, i vecchi, e i fanciulli lodino il nome del Signore, perché il nome di lui solo è sublime.
¹³ Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is sublime, his splendour transcends earthand heaven.	¹³ La gloria di lui pel cielo si spande, e per la terra; ed egli ha esaltata la potenza del popol suo.
¹⁴ For he heightens the strength of his people, to the praise of al his faithful, the children of Israel, thepeople close to him.	¹⁴ L'inno (conviene) a tutti i santi di lui, a' figliuoli d'Israele, al popolo propinquo a lui. Lodate Dio.
