Psalms 148

NEW JERUSALEM	EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL
1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh from the heavens, praise him in the heights.	1 Halleluja! Lobt den Herrn vom Himmel her, lobt ihn in den Höhen:
2 Praise him, all his angels, praise him, al his host!	2 Lobt ihn, all seine Engel, lobt ihn, all seine Scharen;
3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, al shining stars,	3 lobt ihn, Sonne und Mond, lobt ihn, all ihr leuchtenden Sterne;
4 praise him, highest heavens, praise him, waters above the heavens.	4 lobt ihn, alle Himmel und ihr Wasser über dem Himmel!
5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh at whose command they were made;	5 Loben sollen sie den Namen des Herrn; denn er gebot, und sie waren erschaffen.
6 he established them for ever and ever by an unchanging decree.	6 Er stellte sie hin für immer und ewig, er gab ihnen ein Gesetz, das sie nicht übertreten.
7 Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea-monsters and all the depths,	7 Lobt den Herrn, ihr auf der Erde, ihr Seeungeheuer und all ihr Tiefen,
8 fire and hail, snow and mist, storm-winds that obey his word,	8 Feuer und Hagel, Schnee und Nebel, du Sturmwind, der sein Wort vollzieht,
9 mountains and every hill, orchards and every cedar,	9 ihr Berge und all ihr Hügel, ihr Fruchtbäume und alle Zedern,
10 wild animals and al cattle, reptiles and winged birds,	10 ihr wilden Tiere und alles Vieh, Kriechtiere und gefiederte Vögel,
11 kings of the earth and al nations, princes and all judges on earth,	11 ihr Könige der Erde und alle Völker, ihr Fürsten und alle Richter auf Erden,
12 young men and girls, old people and children together.	12 ihr jungen Männer und auch ihr Mädchen, ihr Alten mit den Jungen!
13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is sublime, his splendour transcends earthand heaven.	13 Loben sollen sie den Namen des Herrn; denn sein Name allein ist erhaben, seine Hoheit strahlt über Erde und Himmel.
14 For he heightens the strength of his people, to the praise of al his faithful, the children of Israel, thepeople close to him.	14 Seinem Volk verleiht er Macht, das ist ein Ruhm für all seine Frommen, für Israels Kinder, das Volk, das ihm nahen darf. Halleluja!
