1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh from the heavens, praise him in the heights.	1 Alleluia.Lodate il Signore dai cieli,lodatelo nell’alto dei cieli.
2 Praise him, all his angels, praise him, al his host!	2 Lodatelo, voi tutti, suoi angeli,lodatelo, voi tutte, sue schiere.
3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, al shining stars,	3 Lodatelo, sole e luna,lodatelo, voi tutte, fulgide stelle.
4 praise him, highest heavens, praise him, waters above the heavens.	4 Lodatelo, cieli dei cieli,voi, acque al di sopra dei cieli.
5 Let them praise the name of Yahweh at whose command they were made;	5 Lodino il nome del Signore,perché al suo comando sono stati creati.
6 he established them for ever and ever by an unchanging decree.	6 Li ha resi stabili nei secoli per sempre;ha fissato un decreto che non passerà.
7 Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea-monsters and all the depths,	7 Lodate il Signore dalla terra,mostri marini e voi tutti, abissi,
8 fire and hail, snow and mist, storm-winds that obey his word,	8 fuoco e grandine, neve e nebbia,vento di bufera che esegue la sua parola,
9 mountains and every hill, orchards and every cedar,	9 monti e voi tutte, colline,alberi da frutto e voi tutti, cedri,
10 wild animals and al cattle, reptiles and winged birds,	10 voi, bestie e animali domestici,rettili e uccelli alati.
11 kings of the earth and al nations, princes and all judges on earth,	11 I re della terra e i popoli tutti,i governanti e i giudici della terra,
12 young men and girls, old people and children together.	12 i giovani e le ragazze,i vecchi insieme ai bambini
13 Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for his name alone is sublime, his splendour transcends earthand heaven.	13 lodino il nome del Signore,perché solo il suo nome è sublime:la sua maestà sovrasta la terra e i cieli.
14 For he heightens the strength of his people, to the praise of al his faithful, the children of Israel, thepeople close to him.	14 Ha accresciuto la potenza del suo popolo.Egli è la lode per tutti i suoi fedeli,per i figli d’Israele, popolo a lui vicino.Alleluia.
