1 Per quelli, che saranno cangiati, di Davidde. Salvami, o Dio: imperocché son penetrate le acque fino all'anima mia.	1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. A Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; let those who hate him flee before him!
2 Son fitto in profondissimo fango, che non ha consistenza.	2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before fire, let the wicked perish before God!
3 Son venuto in alto mare, e la tempesta mi ha sommerso.	3 But let the righteous be joyful; let them exult before God; let them be jubilant with joy!
4 Mi sono stancato a gridare: le mie fauci sono inaridite: si sono ottenebrati gli occhi miei, mentre aspettando li tengo rivolti al mio Dio.	4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds; his name is the LORD, exult before him!
5 Son cresciuti di numero sopra i capelli della mia testa coloro, che mi odiano senza ragione. Son divenuti più forti i nemici miei, che mi perseguitano ingiustamente: io allora pagai quello, che io non aveva rapito.	5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.
6 Tu conosci, o Dio, la mia stoltezza? e i miei peccati non sono nascosi a te.	6 God gives the desolate a home to dwell in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
7 Non abbian per causa mia da arrossire coloro, i quali aspettano te, o Dio degli eserciti. Non sian confusi per cagion mia coloro, che cercano te, o Dio d'Israele.	7 O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness, [Selah]
8 Perocché per amor tuo ho sofferta ignominia, e di confusione è stato coperto il mio volto.	8 the earth quaked, the heavens poured down rain, at the presence of God; yon Sinai quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Son divenuto straniero a' miei fratelli, e ignoto a' figliuoli della mia madre.	9 Rain in abundance, O God, thou didst shed abroad; thou didst restore thy heritage as it languished;
10 Perché lo zelo della tua casa mi divorò, e gli insulti di coloro, che ti insultavano son ricaduti sopra di me.	10 thy flock found a dwelling in it; in thy goodness, O God, thou didst provide for the needy.
11 E umiliai col digiuno l'anima mia, e tutto questo si è per me convertito in obbrobrio.	11 The Lord gives the command; great is the host of those who bore the tidings:
12 E presi per mia veste il cilicio, e fui il loro ludibrio.	12 "The kings of the armies, they flee, they flee!" The women at home divide the spoil,
13 Contro di me parlavano quei, che stavano assisi alla porta: e sopra di me i bevoni cantavano delle canzoni.	13 though they stay among the sheepfolds-- the wings of a dove covered with silver, its pinions with green gold.
14 Ma io a te, o Signore, rivolgo la mia orazione: tempo di favore, o Dio, egli è questo. Esaudiscimi secondo la moltitudine della tua misericordia, secondo la verità della salute, ch'io aspetto da te.	14 When the Almighty scattered kings there, snow fell on Zalmon.
15 Trammi dal fango, aftinché io non ti resti sommerso: liberami da coloro, che mi odiano, e dalle acque profonde.	15 O mighty mountain, mountain of Bashan; O many-peaked mountain, mountain of Bashan!
16 Non mi sommerga la tempesta, e non mi assorbisca il mar profondo, e il pozzo non serri la sua bocca sopra di me.	16 Why look you with envy, O many-peaked mountain, at the mount which God desired for his abode, yea, where the LORD will dwell for ever?
17 Esaudiscimi, o Signore, perché benefica ella è la tua misericordia: secondo la molta tua pietà a me rivolgi lo sguardo.	17 With mighty chariotry, twice ten thousand, thousands upon thousands, the Lord came from Sinai into the holy place.
18 E non perder di vista il tuo servo: esaudiscimi prontamente, perché io son tribolato.	18 Thou didst ascend the high mount, leading captives in thy train, and receiving gifts among men, even among the rebellious, that the LORD God may dwell there.
19 Fatti dappresso all'anima mia, e dalle salute: a riguardo de' miei nemici conducimi a salvamento.	19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. [Selah]
20 A te son noti gli obbrobrj, ch'io soffro, e la confusione mia, e la mia ignominia.	20 Our God is a God of salvation; and to GOD, the Lord, belongs escape from death.
21 Sotto degli occhi tuoi sono tutti quelli, che mi tormentano: il mio cuore mi aspettò obbrobrj, e miserie. E aspettai chi entrasse a parte di mia tristezza, e non vi fu, e chi mi porgesse consolazione, e noi trovai.	21 But God will shatter the heads of his enemies, the hairy crown of him who walks in his guilty ways.
22 E il fiele dettero a me per cibo: e nella sete mia mi abbeverarono coll'aceto.	22 The Lord said, "I will bring them back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,
23 La loro mensa diventi per essi lacciuolo, e scandalo per loro retribuzione.	23 that you may bathe your feet in blood, that the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from the foe."
24 Si offuschino i loro occhi, sicché non veggano: e aggrava mai sempre il loro dorso.	24 Thy solemn processions are seen, O God, the processions of my God, my King, into the sanctuary--
25 Scarica sopra di loro l'ira tua, e gli serri il furore dell'ira tua.	25 the singers in front, the minstrels last, between them maidens playing timbrels:
26 La loro abitazione diventi un deserto, e non siavi chi abiti sotto i loro padiglioni.	26 "Bless God in the great congregation, the LORD, O you who are of Israel's fountain!"
27 Perocché hanno perseguitato colui, cui tu avevi percosso, e al dolore delle mie piaghe aggiunser dolore.	27 There is Benjamin, the least of them, in the lead, the princes of Judah in their throng, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28 Aggiungi iniquità alle loro iniquità, e alla giustizia tua non pervengano.	28 Summon thy might, O God; show thy strength, O God, thou who hast wrought for us.
29 Siano cancellati dal libro de' viventi, e non sian descritti trai giusti.	29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem kings bear gifts to thee.
30 Io son povero, e addolorato; la tua salute, o Dio, mi ha sostenuto.	30 Rebuke the beasts that dwell among the reeds, the herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples. Trample under foot those who lust after tribute; scatter the peoples who delight in war.
31 Loderò il nome di Dio co' miei cantici, e lo glorificherò coi rendimenti di grazie:	31 Let bronze be brought from Egypt; let Ethiopia hasten to stretch out her hands to God.
32 E questi piaceranno a Dio più, che un giovane vitello, che butti fuora le corna, e le unghie.	32 Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth; sing praises to the Lord, [Selah]
33 Veggan ciò i poveri, e si consolino: cercate Dio, e l'anima vostra avrà vita:	33 to him who rides in the heavens, the ancient heavens; lo, he sends forth his voice, his mighty voice.
34 Imperocché il Signore ha esauditi i poveri, e non ha posti in non cale quei, che sono per lui in catene.	34 Ascribe power to God, whose majesty is over Israel, and his power is in the skies.
35 Dian lode a lui i cieli, e la terra: il mare, e gli animali tutti, che sono in lor contenuti:	35 Terrible is God in his sanctuary, the God of Israel, he gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!
36 Imperocché Dio salverà Sionne, e saranno edificate le città di Giuda. Ed ivi avran ferma stanza, e la possederanno come proprio retaggio.
37 E i figliuoli de' servi di lui avràn di essa il possesso: e in essa dimoreranno quelli, che amano il di lui nome.
