Ephesians 6

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Children, be obedient to your parents in the Lord -- that is what uprightness demands.	1 ايها الاولاد اطيعوا والديكم في الرب لان هذا حق.
2 The first commandment that has a promise attached to it is: Honour your father and your mother,	2 اكرم اباك وامك. التي هي اول وصية بوعد.
3 and the promise is: so that you may have long life and prosper in the land.	3 لكي يكون لكم خير وتكونوا طوال الاعمار على الارض.
4 And parents, never drive your children to resentment but bring them up with correction and adviceinspired by the Lord.	4 وانتم ايها الآباء لا تغيظوا اولادكم بل ربوهم بتأديب الرب وانذاره.
5 Slaves, be obedient to those who are, according to human reckoning, your masters, with deep respectand sincere loyalty, as you are obedient to Christ:	5 ايها العبيد اطيعوا سادتكم حسب الجسد بخوف ورعدة في بساطة قلوبكم كما للمسيح.
6 not only when you are under their eye, as if you had only to please human beings, but as slaves ofChrist who wholeheartedly do the wil of God.	6 لا بخدمة العين كمن يرضي الناس بل كعبيد المسيح عاملين مشيئة الله من القلب
7 Work wil ingly for the sake of the Lord and not for the sake of human beings.	7 خادمين بنيّة صالحة كما للرب ليس للناس.
8 Never forget that everyone, whether a slave or a free man, wil be rewarded by the Lord for whateverwork he has done wel .	8 عالمين ان مهما عمل كل واحد من الخير فذلك يناله من الرب عبدا كان ام حرا.
9 And those of you who are employers, treat your slaves in the same spirit; do without threats, and neverforget that they and you have the same Master in heaven and there is no favouritism with him.	9 وانتم ايها السادة افعلوا لهم هذه الامور تاركين التهديد عالمين ان سيدكم انتم ايضا في السموات وليس عنده محاباة
10 Finally, grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power.	10 اخيرا يا اخوتي تقووا في الرب وفي شدة قوته.
11 Put on the ful armour of God so as to be able to resist the devil's tactics.	11 البسوا سلاح الله الكامل لكي تقدروا ان تثبتوا ضد مكايد ابليس.
12 For it is not against human enemies that we have to struggle, but against the principalities and theruling forces who are masters of the darkness in this world, the spirits of evil in the heavens.	12 فان مصارعتنا ليست مع دم ولحم بل مع الرؤساء مع السلاطين مع ولاة العالم على ظلمة هذا الدهر مع اجناد الشر الروحية في السماويات.
13 That is why you must take up al God's armour, or you wil not be able to put up any resistance on theevil day, or stand your ground even though you exert yourselves to the ful .	13 من اجل ذلك احملوا سلاح الله الكامل لكي تقدروا ان تقاوموا في اليوم الشرير وبعد ان تتمموا كل شيء ان تثبتوا.
14 So stand your ground, with truth a belt round your waist, and uprightness a breastplate,	14 فاثبتوا ممنطقين احقاءكم بالحق ولابسين درع البر
15 wearing for shoes on your feet the eagerness to spread the gospel of peace	15 وحاذين ارجلكم باستعداد انجيل السلام.
16 and always carrying the shield of faith so that you can use it to quench the burning arrows of the EvilOne.	16 حاملين فوق الكل ترس الايمان الذي به تقدرون ان تطفئوا جميع سهام الشرير الملتهبة.
17 And then you must take salvation as your helmet and the sword of the Spirit, that is, the word of God.	17 وخذوا خوذة الخلاص وسيف الروح الذي هو كلمة الله.
18 In al your prayer and entreaty keep praying in the Spirit on every possible occasion. Never get tired ofstaying awake to pray for al God's holy people,	18 مصلّين بكل صلاة وطلبة كل وقت في الروح وساهرين لهذا بعينه بكل مواظبة وطلبة لاجل جميع القديسين
19 and pray for me to be given an opportunity to open my mouth and fearlessly make known the mysteryof the gospel	19 ولاجلي لكي يعطى لي كلام عند افتتاح فمي لاعلم جهارا بسر الانجيل.
20 of which I am an ambassador in chains; pray that in proclaiming it I may speak as fearlessly as I oughtto.	20 الذي لاجله انا سفير في سلاسل. لكي اجاهر فيه كما يجب ان اتكلم
21 So that you know, as well, what is happening to me and what I am doing, my dear friend Tychicus, mytrustworthy helper in the Lord, wil tel you everything.	21 ولكن لكي تعلموا انتم ايضا احوالي ماذا افعل يعرّفكم بكل شيء تيخيكس الاخ الحبيب والخادم الامين في الرب
22 I am sending him to you precisely for this purpose, to give you news about us and encourage youthoroughly.	22 الذي ارسلته اليكم لهذا بعينه لكي تعلموا احوالنا ولكي يعزي قلوبكم
23 May God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ grant peace, love and faith to al the brothers.	23 سلام على الاخوة ومحبة بايمان من الله الآب والرب يسوع المسيح.
24 May grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ, in life imperishable.	24 النعمة مع جميع الذين يحبون ربنا يسوع المسيح في عدم فساد. آمين. كتبت الى اهل افسس من رومية على يد تيخيكس
