NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 El Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 'Give the Israelites this order. Say: "When you enter the country (Canaan), this will be the countrywhich forms your heritage. This is Canaan as defined by its boundaries:	2 Comunica esta orden a los israelitas: Cuando entren en la tierra de Canaán, recibirán como herencia toda la extensión del territorio de Canaán, a saber:
3 "The southern part of your country wil start from the desert of Zin, on the borders of Edom. Yoursouthern boundary wil start on the east at the end of the Salt Sea.	3 La región meridional se extenderá desde el desierto de Sin, a lo largo de Edom. Por el este, la frontera meridional comenzará en el extremo del mar de la Sal.
4 It wil then turn south towards the Ascent of the Scorpions and go by Zin to end in the south atKadesh-Barnea. It wil then run towards Hazar-Addar and pass through Azmon.	4 Luego dará una vuelta por el sur hasta el Paso de los Escorpiones, y pasará por Sin, para ir a terminar al sur de Cades Barné. Después continuará hasta Jasar Adar y pasará por Asmón.
5 From Azmon the boundary wil turn towards the Torrent of Egypt and end at the Sea.	5 Partiendo de Asmón, dará una vuelta hasta el Torrente de Egipto y terminará en el Mar.
6 "Your seaboard wil be on the Great Sea; this will be your western boundary.	6 Al oeste tendrán como límite la costa del Mar Grande: esta será para ustedes la frontera occidental.
7 "Your northern boundary wil be as fol ows: you wil draw a line from the Great Sea to Mount Hor,	7 La frontera norte la siguiente: trazarán una línea desde el Mar hasta el monte Hor;
8 then from Mount Hor you wil draw a line to the Pass of Hamath, and the boundary will end at Zedad.	8 desde el monte Hor trazarán una línea hasta la Entrada de Jamat, y la frontera terminará en Sedad.
9 From there it wil run on to Ziphron and end at Hazar-Enan. This wil be your northern boundary.	9 Luego continuará hasta Sifrón, para ir a terminar en Jasar Enán. Esta será la frontera septentrional.
10 "You will then draw your eastern boundary from Hazar-Enan to Shepham.	10 Para fijar el límite oriental, trazarán una línea desde Jasar Enán hasta Sefam.
11 The boundary wil run down from Shepham towards Riblah on the east side of Ain. Further down itwil keep to the eastern shore of the Sea of Chinnereth.	11 Desde Sefam, la frontera bajará hasta Riblá, al este de Ain, y desde allí seguirá bajando hasta tocar la costa oriental del mar de Genesaret.
12 The frontier wil then fol ow the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. "Such wil be your country with theboundaries surrounding it." '	12 Después bajará a lo largo del Jordán y terminará en el mar de la Sal. Este será el territorio de ustedes, con las fronteras que lo circunscriben.
13 Moses then gave the Israelites this order: 'This is the country, where your heritages wil be assignedby lot, and which Yahweh has ordered to be given to the nine tribes and the half-tribe,	13 Además, Moisés dio esta orden a los israelitas: Esta es la tierra que ustedes se repartirán como herencia por medio de un sorteo, la que el Señor manó fuera entregada a las nueve tribus y media.
14 for the tribe of the Reubenites with their families and the tribe of the Gadites with their families havealready received their heritage; the half-tribe of Manasseh has also received its heritage.	14 Porque las familias patriarcales de la tribu de los rubenitas, las familias de la tribu de los gaditas y la mitad de la tribu de Manasés ya recibieron su herencia:
15 These two tribes and the half-tribe have received their heritage on the other side of the Jordan byJericho, to the east, towards the sunrise.'	15 esas dos tribus y media recibieron su propiedad hereditaria al otro lado del Jordán, al este de Jericó, en la parte oriental.
16 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	16 Luego el Señor dijo a Moisés:
17 'Here are the names of the men who wil divide the country up for you: the priest Eleazar andJoshua son of Nun,	17 Las personas que les repartirán el territorio serán el sacerdote Eleazar y Josué, hijo de Nun.
18 and you wil take one leader from each tribe to divide the country up into heritages.	18 Además, ustedes tomarán un jefe de cada tribu para la repartición del país.
19 Here are the names of these men: 'For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;	19 Los nombres de esas personas son los siguientes: Por la tribu de Judá, Caleb, hijo de Iefuné;
20 'for the tribe of the Simeonites, Shemuel son of Ammihud;	20 por la tribu de Simeón, Semuel, hijo de Amihud;
21 'for the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;	21 por la tribu de Benjamín, Elidad, hijo de Quislón;
22 'for the tribe of the Danites, the leader Bukki son of Jogli;	22 por la tribu de Dan, el jefe Buquí, hijo de Ioglí;
23 'for the sons of Joseph: for the tribe of Manasseh, the leader Hanniel son of Ephod;	23 por las tribus de los hijos de José: el jefe Janiel, hijo de Efod, por la tribu de Manasés;
24 'for the tribe of the Ephraimites, the leader Kemuel son of Shiphtan;	24 y el jefe Quemuel, hijo de Siftán, por la tribu de Efraím;
25 'for the tribe of the Zebulunites, the leader Elizaphan son of Parnach;	25 por la tribu de Zabulón, el jefe Elisafán, hijo de Parnac;
26 'for the tribe of the Issacharites, the leader Paltiel son of Azzan;	26 por la tribu de Isacar, el jefe Paltiel, hijo de Azán;
27 'for the tribe of the Asherites, the leader Ahihud son of Shelomi;	27 por la tribu de Aser, el jefe Ajihud, hijo de Selomí;
28 'for the tribe of the Naphtalites, the leader Pedahel son of Ammihud.'	28 por la tribu de Neftalí, el jefe Padael, hijo de Amihud.
29 These were the men whom Yahweh ordered to divide Canaan into heritages for the Israelites.	29 Estas son las personas que designó el Señor para repartir el territorio de Canaán como herencia entre los israelitas.
