2 Have pity on me, Yahweh, for I am fading away. Heal me, Yahweh, my bones are shaken,	2 Abbi pietà di me, perché io sono senza forze, sanami, o Signore, perché le ossa mie sono scommosse.
3 my spirit is shaken to its very depths. But you, Yahweh . . . how long?	3 E l'anima mia è grandemente turbata: ma tu, o Signore, fino a quando? ...
4 Yahweh, relent and save my life rescue me because of your faithful love,	4 Volgiti, o Signore, e libera l'anima mia: per tua misericordia dammi salute.
5 for in death there is no remembrance of you; who could sing your praises in Sheol?	5 Imperocché nella morte non è chi di te si ricordi; e nell'inferno chi mai ti confesserà.
6 I am worn out with groaning, every night I drench my pil ow and soak my bed with tears.	6 Mi son consumato nel gemere; laverò tutte le notti il mio letto (col pianto), il luogo del mio riposo irrigherò colle mie lagrime.
7 My eyes waste away with vexation. Arrogance from al my foes!	7 Per lo furore l'occhio mio si è ottenebrato; sono invecchiato in mezzo a tutti i miei nemici.
8 Away from me, al evil-doers! For Yahweh has heard the sound of my weeping,	8 Andate lungi da me voi tutti, che operate l'iniquità, conciossiachè il Signore ha esaudita la voce del pianto mio.
9 Yahweh has heard my pleading. Yahweh wil accept my prayer.	9 Il Signore ha esaudite le mie suppliche, il Signore ha accolta la mia orazione.
10 Let al my enemies be put to confusion, shaken to their depths, let them retreat in sudden confusion.	10 Siano svergognati, e sconturbati altamente tutti i miei nemici, siano volti in fuga, e svergognati in un attimo.
