2 For Yahweh, the Most High, is glorious, the great king over al the earth.	2 Popoli tutti, battete le mani!Acclamate Dio con grida di gioia,
3 He brings peoples under our yoke and nations under our feet.	3 perché terribile è il Signore, l’Altissimo,grande re su tutta la terra.
4 He chooses for us our birthright, the pride of Jacob whom he loves.Pause	4 Egli ci ha sottomesso i popoli,sotto i nostri piedi ha posto le nazioni.
5 God goes up to shouts of acclaim, Yahweh to a fanfare on the ram's horn.	5 Ha scelto per noi la nostra eredità,orgoglio di Giacobbe che egli ama.
6 Let the music sound for our God, let it sound, let the music sound for our king, let it sound.	6 Ascende Dio tra le acclamazioni,il Signore al suono di tromba.

8 God reigns over the nations, seated on his holy throne.	8 perché Dio è re di tutta la terra,cantate inni con arte.
9 The leaders of the nations ral y to the people of the God of Abraham. The shields of the earth belongto God, who is exalted on high.	9 Dio regna sulle genti,Dio siede sul suo trono santo.
	10 I capi dei popoli si sono raccolticome popolo del Dio di Abramo.Sì, a Dio appartengono i poteri della terra:egli è eccelso.
