1 [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah Psalm] Clap your hands, all peoples, acclaim God withshouts of joy.	1 [Für den Chormeister. Ein Psalm der Korachiter.]
2 For Yahweh, the Most High, is glorious, the great king over al the earth.	2 Ihr Völker alle, klatscht in die Hände; jauchzt Gott zu mit lautem Jubel!
3 He brings peoples under our yoke and nations under our feet.	3 Denn Furcht gebietend ist der Herr, der Höchste, ein großer König über die ganze Erde.
4 He chooses for us our birthright, the pride of Jacob whom he loves.Pause	4 Er unterwirft uns Völker und zwingt Nationen unter unsre Füße.
5 God goes up to shouts of acclaim, Yahweh to a fanfare on the ram's horn.	5 Er wählt unser Erbland für uns aus, den Stolz Jakobs, den er liebt. [Sela]
6 Let the music sound for our God, let it sound, let the music sound for our king, let it sound.	6 Gott stieg empor unter Jubel, der Herr beim Schall der Hörner.
7 For he is king of the whole world; learn the music, let it sound for God!	7 Singt unserm Gott, ja singt ihm! Spielt unserm König, spielt ihm!
8 God reigns over the nations, seated on his holy throne.	8 Denn Gott ist König der ganzen Erde. Spielt ihm ein Psalmenlied!
9 The leaders of the nations ral y to the people of the God of Abraham. The shields of the earth belongto God, who is exalted on high.	9 Gott wurde König über alle Völker, Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron.
	10 Die Fürsten der Völker sind versammelt als Volk des Gottes Abrahams. Denn Gott gehören die Mächte der Erde; er ist hoch erhaben.
