1 [For the choirmaster Of the sons of Korah Psalm] Clap your hands, all peoples, acclaim God withshouts of joy.	1 Salmo del cantico: ai figliuoli di Core. Grande il Signore, e laudabile sommamente nella città del nostro Dio, nel suo monte santo.
2 For Yahweh, the Most High, is glorious, the great king over al the earth.	2 Con giubilo di tutta la terra è fondato il monte di Sion, la città del gran Re dal lato di settentrione.
3 He brings peoples under our yoke and nations under our feet.	3 Il Signore nelle case di lei sarà conosciuto allorché egli ne prenderà la difesa.
4 He chooses for us our birthright, the pride of Jacob whom he loves.Pause	4 Imperocché ecco che i re della terra si son raunati, hanno fatta congiura.
5 God goes up to shouts of acclaim, Yahweh to a fanfare on the ram's horn.	5 Questi stessi al vederla restarono stupefatti, si conturbarono, si commossero, li prese il terrore.
6 Let the music sound for our God, let it sound, let the music sound for our king, let it sound.	6 Quindi dolori come di una donna, che partorisce:
7 For he is king of the whole world; learn the music, let it sound for God!	7 Col soffio veemente tu fracasserai le navi di Tharsis.
8 God reigns over the nations, seated on his holy throne.	8 Secondo quello, che avevamo udito, rosi abbiam veduto nella città del Signore degli eserciti, nella città del nostro Dio: il Signore la ha fondata per l'eternità.
9 The leaders of the nations ral y to the people of the God of Abraham. The shields of the earth belongto God, who is exalted on high.	9 Abbiam ricevuto, o Dio, la tua misericordia, in mezzo al tuo tempio.
	10 Come il tuo nome, o Dio, cosi la tua gloria sino ai confini della terra: la tua destra è piena di giustizia.
	11 Rallegrisi il monte di Sion, ed esultino le flglie di Giuda a causa de' tuoi giudizj, o Signore.
	12 Girate intorno a Sionne, e disaminatela per ogni parte, contate le torri di lei.
	13 Considerate coll'animo vostro quant'ella è forte; e distinguete le case di lei per raccontare alla stirpe, che verrà,
	14 Come questi è Dio, il nostro Dio in eterno, e ne' secoli de' secoli: ei ci governerà in perpetuo.
