1 [Of David, when he had feigned insanity before Abimelech, and Abimelech sent him away] I wil blessYahweh at al times, his praise continual y on my lips.	1 Salmo di Davide, intorno a ciò ch’egli si contraffece davanti ad Abimelec; onde esso lo cacciò via, ed egli se ne andò IO benedirò il Signore in ogni tempo; La sua lode sarà sempre nella mia bocca.
2 I will praise Yahweh from my heart; let the humble hear and rejoice.	2 L’anima mia si glorierà nel Signore; Gli umili l’udiranno, e si rallegreranno.
3 Proclaim with me the greatness of Yahweh, let us acclaim his name together.	3 Magnificate meco il Signore, Ed esaltiamo tutti insieme il suo Nome.
4 I seek Yahweh and he answers me, frees me from al my fears.	4 Io ho cercato il Signore, ed egli mi ha risposto, E mi ha liberato da tutti i miei spaventi.
5 Fix your gaze on Yahweh and your face wil grow bright, you wil never hang your head in shame.	5 Quelli che hanno riguardato a lui sono stati illuminati, E le lor facce non sono state svergognate.

10 Young lions may go needy and hungry, but those who seek Yahweh lack nothing good.	10 I leoncelli soffrono necessità e fame; Ma quelli che cercano il Signore non hanno mancamento di alcun bene
11 Come, my children, listen to me, I wil teach you the fear of Yahweh.	11 Venite, figliuoli, ascoltatemi; Io v’insegnerò il timor del Signore.
12 Who among you delights in life, longs for time to enjoy prosperity?	12 Quale è l’uomo che abbia voglia di vivere, Che ami lunghezza di giorni per veder del bene?
13 Guard your tongue from evil, your lips from any breath of deceit.	13 Guarda la tua lingua dal male, E le tue labbra da parlar frode.
14 Turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.	14 Ritratti dal male, e fa’ il bene; Cerca la pace, e procacciala.
15 The eyes of Yahweh are on the upright, his ear turned to their cry.	15 Gli occhi del Signore son verso i giusti, E le sue orecchie sono attente al grido loro.
16 But Yahweh's face is set against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.	16 La faccia del Signore è contro a quelli che fanno male, Per isterminare la lor memoria d’in su la terra.
17 They cry in anguish and Yahweh hears, and rescues them from al their troubles.	17 I giusti gridano, e il Signore li esaudisce, E li libera da tutte le lor distrette.
18 Yahweh is near to the broken-hearted, he helps those whose spirit is crushed.	18 Il Signore è presso di quelli che hanno il cuor rotto, E salva quelli che hanno lo spirito contrito.
19 Though hardships without number beset the upright, Yahweh brings rescue from them all.	19 Molte son le afflizioni del giusto; Ma il Signore lo libererà da tutte.
20 Yahweh takes care of all their bones, not one of them wil be broken.	20 Egli guarda tutte le ossa di esso: E niuno ne può esser rotto.
21 But to the wicked evil brings death, those who hate the upright wil pay the penalty.	21 La malvagità farà morire il malvagio, E quelli che odiano il giusto saran distrutti.
22 Yahweh ransoms the lives of those who serve him, and there wil be no penalty for those who takerefuge in him.	22 Il Signore riscatta l’anima de’ suoi servitori; E niuno di quelli che sperano in lui sarà distrutto
