1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Yahweh, the king rejoices in your power; How your saving helpfills him with joy!	1 Zborovođi. Psalam. Davidov.
2 You have granted him his heart's desire, not denied him the prayer of his lips.Pause	2 Jahve, zbog tvoje se moći kralj veseli, zbog pomoći tvoje radosno kliče.
3 For you come to meet him with blessings of prosperity, put a crown of pure gold on his head.	3 Ti mu ispuni želju srca, ne odbi molitve usana njegovih.
4 He has asked for life, you have given it him, length of days for ever and ever.	4 Ti ga predusrete blagoslovima sretnim, na glavu mu krunu stavi od suhoga zlata.
5 Great his glory through your saving help; you invest him with splendour and majesty.	5 Za život te molio, i ti mu dade premnoge dane – za vijeke vjekova.
6 You confer on him everlasting blessings, you gladden him with the joy of your presence.	6 Pomoću tvojom slava je njegova velika, uresio si ga veličanstvom i sjajem.
7 For the king puts his trust in Yahweh; the faithful love of the Most High wil keep him from fal ing.	7 Ti ga učini blagoslovom za vjekove, veseliš ga radošću lica svojega.
8 Your hand wil reach all your enemies, your right hand al who hate you.	8 Doista, kralj se uzda u Jahvu i po dobroti Svevišnjega neće se pokolebati.
9 You will hurl them into a blazing furnace on the day when you appear; Yahweh wil engulf them in his anger, and fire wil devour them.	9 Tvoja ruka nek’ pronađe sve dušmane tvoje, desnica tvoja neka stigne one koji te mrze!
10 You wil purge the earth of their descendants, the human race of their posterity.	10 Nek’ budu kao u peći ognjenoj kad se ukaže lice tvoje! Nek’ ih Jahve gnjevom uništi, neka ih proguta oganj!
11 They have devised evil against you but, plot as they may, they will not succeed,	11 Njihovo potomstvo satri sa zemlje i rod im iz sinova ljudskih.
12 since you will make them turn tail, by shooting your arrows in their faces.	12 Ako li stanu zlo kovati protiv tebe, ako spremaju spletke, neće uspjeti.
13 Rise, Yahweh, in your power! We wil sing and make music in honour of your strength.	13 Ti ćeš ih natjerati u bijeg, svoj luk ćeš usmjeriti na njih.
	14 Ustani, Jahve, u sili svojoj! Daj nam da pjesmama slavimo snagu tvoju!
