1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Yahweh, the king rejoices in your power; How your saving helpfills him with joy!	1 A karvezetőnek. Dávid zsoltára.
2 You have granted him his heart's desire, not denied him the prayer of his lips.Pause	2 Uram, hatalmadon örvend a király, és mérhetetlenül ujjong segítségeden.
3 For you come to meet him with blessings of prosperity, put a crown of pure gold on his head.	3 Teljesítetted szívének kívánságát, nem tagadtad meg tőle ajkának óhajtását.
4 He has asked for life, you have given it him, length of days for ever and ever.	4 Sőt elébe siettél boldogító áldással, fejére színarany koronát helyeztél.
5 Great his glory through your saving help; you invest him with splendour and majesty.	5 Életet kért tőled, s te megadtad neki, hogy sokáig éljen, időtlen időkig.
6 You confer on him everlasting blessings, you gladden him with the joy of your presence.	6 Segítséged folytán nagy a dicsősége, dicsőséggel és nagy ékességgel ruháztad fel őt.
7 For the king puts his trust in Yahweh; the faithful love of the Most High wil keep him from fal ing.	7 Valóban, áldássá tetted őt mindörökre, megörvendeztetted vidámsággal színed előtt.
8 Your hand wil reach all your enemies, your right hand al who hate you.	8 Minthogy az Úrban bízik a király, meg nem inog a Fölséges irgalmából.
9 You will hurl them into a blazing furnace on the day when you appear; Yahweh wil engulf them in his anger, and fire wil devour them.	9 Érje utol kezed minden ellenségedet, érje el jobbod minden gyűlölődet!
10 You wil purge the earth of their descendants, the human race of their posterity.	10 Tedd őket hasonlókká tüzes kemencéhez, abban az időben, amikor megjelensz. Nyelje el őket haragjában az Úr, és a tűz eméssze el őket!
11 They have devised evil against you but, plot as they may, they will not succeed,	11 Pusztítsd el magzataikat a földről, utódaikat az emberek fiai közül!
12 since you will make them turn tail, by shooting your arrows in their faces.	12 Mert gonoszat határoztak ellened, álnok terveket szőttek, de semmit sem vihettek keresztül.
13 Rise, Yahweh, in your power! We wil sing and make music in honour of your strength.	13 Mert te megfutamítottad őket, íjaddal célba vetted arcukat.
	14 Kelj fel, Uram, hatalmaddal! Hadd magasztaljuk erődet énekkel és zsoltárral!
