Psalms 147

1 Al eluia! Praise Yahweh -- it is good to sing psalms to our God -- how pleasant to praise him.	1 (146-1) ^^Аллилуия.^^ Хвалите Господа, ибо благо петь Богу нашему, ибо это сладостно, --хвала подобающая.
2 Yahweh, Builder of Jerusalem! He gathers together the exiles of Israel,	2 (146-2) Господь созидает Иерусалим, собирает изгнанников Израиля.
3 healing the broken-hearted and binding up their wounds;	3 (146-3) Он исцеляет сокрушенных сердцем и врачует скорби их;
4 he counts out the number of the stars, and gives each one of them a name.	4 (146-4) исчисляет количество звезд; всех их называет именами их.
5 Our Lord is great, al -powerful, his wisdom beyond al telling.	5 (146-5) Велик Господь наш и велика крепость [Его], и разум Его неизмерим.
6 Yahweh sustains the poor, and humbles the wicked to the ground.	6 (146-6) Смиренных возвышает Господь, а нечестивых унижает до земли.
7 Sing to Yahweh in thanksgiving, play the harp for our God.	7 (146-7) Пойте поочередно славословие Господу; пойте Богу нашему на гуслях.
8 He veils the sky with clouds, and provides the earth with rain, makes grass grow on the hills andplants for people to use,	8 (146-8) Он покрывает небо облаками, приготовляет для земли дождь, произращает на горах траву;
9 gives fodder to cattle and to young ravens when they cry.	9 (146-9) дает скоту пищу его и птенцам ворона, взывающим [к] [Нему].
10 He takes no delight in the power of horses, no pleasure in human sturdiness;	10 (146-10) Не на силу коня смотрит Он, не к [быстроте] ног человеческих благоволит, --
11 his pleasure is in those who fear him, in those who hope in his faithful love.	11 (146-11) благоволит Господь к боящимся Его, к уповающим на милость Его.
12 Praise Yahweh, Jerusalem, Zion, praise your God.	12 (147-1) Хвали, Иерусалим, Господа; хвали, Сион, Бога твоего,
13 For he gives strength to the bars of your gates, he blesses your children within you,	13 (147-2) ибо Он укрепляет вереи ворот твоих, благословляет сынов твоих среди тебя;
14 he maintains the peace of your frontiers, gives you your fil of finest wheat.	14 (147-3) утверждает в пределах твоих мир; туком пшеницы насыщает тебя;
15 He sends his word to the earth, his command runs quickly,	15 (147-4) посылает слово Свое на землю; быстро течет слово Его;
16 he spreads the snow like flax, strews hoarfrost like ashes,	16 (147-5) дает снег, как волну; сыплет иней, как пепел;
17 he sends ice-crystals like breadcrumbs, and who can withstand that cold?	17 (147-6) бросает град Свой кусками; перед морозом Его кто устоит?
18 When he sends his word it thaws them, when he makes his wind blow, the waters are unstopped.	18 (147-7) Пошлет слово Свое, и все растает; подует ветром Своим, и потекут воды.
19 He reveals his word to Jacob, his statutes and judgements to Israel.	19 (147-8) Он возвестил слово Свое Иакову, уставы Свои и суды Свои Израилю.
20 For no other nation has he done this, no other has known his judgements.	20 (147-9) Не сделал Он того никакому [другому] народу, и судов Его они не знают. Аллилуия.
