1 Al eluia! Praise the name of Yahweh, you who serve Yahweh, praise him,	1 הללו יה הללו את שם יהוה הללו עבדי יהוה
2 serving in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.	2 שעמדים בבית יהוה בחצרות בית אלהינו
3 Praise Yahweh, for Yahweh is good, make music for his name -- it brings joy-	3 הללו יה כי טוב יהוה זמרו לשמו כי נעים
4 for Yahweh has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his own possession.	4 כי יעקב בחר לו יה ישראל לסגלתו
5 For I know that Yahweh is great, our Lord is above al gods.	5 כי אני ידעתי כי גדול יהוה ואדנינו מכל אלהים
6 Yahweh does whatever he pleases in heaven, on earth, in the waters and al the depths.	6 כל אשר חפץ יהוה עשה בשמים ובארץ בימים וכל תהומות
7 He summons up clouds from the borders of earth, sends rain with lightning-flashes, and brings thewind out of his storehouse.	7 מעלה נשאים מקצה הארץ ברקים למטר עשה מוצא רוח מאוצרותיו
8 He struck the first-born in Egypt, man and beast alike,	8 שהכה בכורי מצרים מאדם עד בהמה
9 he sent signs and wonders into the heart of Egypt, against Pharaoh and al his officials.	9 שלח אתות ומפתים בתוככי מצרים בפרעה ובכל עבדיו
10 He struck down many nations, he slaughtered mighty kings,	10 שהכה גוים רבים והרג מלכים עצומים
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and al the kingdoms of Canaan.	11 לסיחון מלך האמרי ולעוג מלך הבשן ולכל ממלכות כנען
12 He gave their land as a birthright, a birthright to his people Israel.	12 ונתן ארצם נחלה נחלה לישראל עמו
13 Yahweh, your name endures for ever, Yahweh, your memory is fresh from age to age.	13 יהוה שמך לעולם יהוה זכרך לדר ודר
14 For Yahweh vindicates his people, feels compassion for his servants.	14 כי ידין יהוה עמו ועל עבדיו יתנחם
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands.	15 עצבי הגוים כסף וזהב מעשה ידי אדם
16 These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,	16 פה להם ולא ידברו עינים להם ולא יראו
17 have ears but hear nothing, and they have no breath in their mouths.	17 אזנים להם ולא יאזינו אף אין יש רוח בפיהם
18 Their makers wil end up like them, everyone who relies on them.	18 כמוהם יהיו עשיהם כל אשר בטח בהם
