1 Al eluia! Praise the name of Yahweh, you who serve Yahweh, praise him,	1 ALLELUIA. Lodate il Nome del Signore; Lodatelo, voi servitori del Signore;
2 serving in the house of Yahweh, in the courts of the house of our God.	2 Che state nella Casa del Signore, Ne’ cortili della Casa del nostro Dio.
3 Praise Yahweh, for Yahweh is good, make music for his name -- it brings joy-	3 Lodate il Signore; perciocchè il Signore è buono; Salmeggiate al suo Nome, perciocchè è amabile.
4 for Yahweh has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his own possession.	4 Conciossiachè il Signore si abbia eletto Giacobbe Ed Israele per suo tesoro riposto
5 For I know that Yahweh is great, our Lord is above al gods.	5 Certo io conosco che il Signore è grande, E che il nostro Signore è maggiore di tutti gl’iddii.
6 Yahweh does whatever he pleases in heaven, on earth, in the waters and al the depths.	6 Il Signore fa tutto ciò che gli piace In cielo ed in terra; Ne’ mari, ed in tutti gli abissi.
7 He summons up clouds from the borders of earth, sends rain with lightning-flashes, and brings thewind out of his storehouse.	7 Egli fa salire i vapori dall’estremità dalle terra; Egli fa i lampi per la pioggia; Egli trae fuori il vento da’ suoi tesori.

14 For Yahweh vindicates his people, feels compassion for his servants.	14 Quando il Signore avrà fatti i suoi giudicii sopra il suo popolo, Egli si pentirà per amor de’ suoi servitori
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands.	15 Gl’idoli delle genti sono argento ed oro, Opera di mani d’uomini;
16 These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,	16 Hanno bocca, e non parlano; Hanno occhi, e non veggono;
17 have ears but hear nothing, and they have no breath in their mouths.	17 Hanno orecchi, e non odono; Ed anche non hanno fiato alcuno nella lor bocca.
18 Their makers wil end up like them, everyone who relies on them.	18 Simili ad essi sieno quelli che li fanno; Chiunque in essi si confida.
19 House of Israel, bless Yahweh, House of Aaron, bless Yahweh,	19 Casa d’Israele, benedite il Signore; Casa d’Aaronne, benedite il Signore.
20 House of Levi, bless Yahweh, you who fear Yahweh, bless Yahweh.	20 Casa di Levi, benedite il Signore; Voi che temete il Signore, beneditelo.
21 Blessed be Yahweh from Zion, he who dwel s in Jerusalem!	21 Benedetto sia da Sion il Signore, Che abita in Gerusalemme. Alleluia
