Psalms 115

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give the glory, for your faithful love and yourconstancy!	1 No nos glorifiques a nosotros, Señor: glorifica solamente a tu Nombre, por tu amor y tu fidelidad.
2 Why should the nations ask, 'Where is their God?'	2 ¿Por qué han de decir las naciones: «¿Dónde está su dios»?
3 Our God is in heaven, he creates whatever he chooses.	3 Nuestro Dios está en el cielo y en la tierra, él hace todo lo que quiere.
4 They have idols of silver and gold, made by human hands.	4 Los ídolos, en cambio, son plata y oro, obra de las manos de los hombres.
5 These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,	5 Tienen boca, pero no hablan, tienen ojos, pero no ven;
6 have ears but hear nothing, have noses but smel nothing.	6 tienen orejas, pero no oyen, tienen nariz, pero no huelen.
7 They have hands but cannot feel, have feet but cannot walk, no sound comes from their throats.	7 Tienen manos, pero no palpan, tienen pies, pero no caminan; ni un solo sonido sale de su garganta.
8 Their makers wil end up like them, and al who rely on them.	8 Como ellos serán los que los fabrican, los que ponen en ellos su confianza.
9 House of Israel, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.	9 Pueblo de Israel, confía en el Señor: él es tu ayuda y tu escudo;
10 House of Aaron, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.	10 familia de Aarón, confía en el Señor; él es tu ayuda y tu escudo;
11 You who fear Yahweh, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.	11 confíen en el Señor todos los que lo temen: él es su ayuda y su escudo.
12 Yahweh wil keep us in mind, he will bless, he wil bless the House of Israel, he wil bless the Houseof Aaron,	12 Que el Señor se acuerde de nosotros y nos bendiga: bendiga al pueblo de Israel, bendiga a la familia de Aarón,
13 he wil bless those who fear Yahweh, small and great alike.	13 bendiga a los que temen al Señor, a los pequeños y a los grandes.
14 May Yahweh add to your numbers, yours and your children's too!	14 Que el Señor los multiplique, a ustedes y a sus hijos;
15 May you be blessed by Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.	15 y sean bendecidos por el Señor, que hizo el cielo y la tierra.
16 Heaven belongs to Yahweh, but earth he has given to the children of Adam.	16 El cielo pertenece al Señor, y la tierra la entregó a los hombres.
17 The dead cannot praise Yahweh, those who sink into silence,	17 Los muertos ya no alaban al Señor, ni tampoco a los que bajaron del sepulcro.
18 but we, the living, shal bless Yahweh, henceforth and for ever.	18 Nosotros, los vivientes, bendecimos al Señor, desde ahora y para siempre. ¡Aleluya!
