Psalms 115

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give the glory, for your faithful love and yourconstancy!	1 ¡No a nosotros, Yahveh, no a nosotros, sino a tu nombre da la gloria, por tu amor, por tu verdad!
2 Why should the nations ask, 'Where is their God?'	2 ¿Por qué han de decir las gentes: «¿Dónde está su Dios?»
3 Our God is in heaven, he creates whatever he chooses.	3 Nuestro Dios está en los cielos, todo cuanto le place lo realiza.
4 They have idols of silver and gold, made by human hands.	4 Plata y oro son sus ídolos, obra de mano de hombre.
5 These have mouths but say nothing, have eyes but see nothing,	5 Tienen boca y no hablan, tienen ojos y no ven,
6 have ears but hear nothing, have noses but smel nothing.	6 tienen oídos y no oyen, tienen nariz y no huelen.
7 They have hands but cannot feel, have feet but cannot walk, no sound comes from their throats.	7 Tienen manos y no palpan, tienen pies y no caminan, ni un solo susurro en su garganta.
8 Their makers wil end up like them, and al who rely on them.	8 Como ellos serán los que los hacen, cuantos en ellos ponen su confianza.
9 House of Israel, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.	9 Casa de Israel, confía en Yahveh, él, su auxilio y su escudo;
10 House of Aaron, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.	10 casa de Aarón, confía en Yahveh, él, su auxilio y su escudo;
11 You who fear Yahweh, rely on Yahweh; he is their help and their shield.	11 los que teméis a Yahveh, confiad en Yahveh, él, su auxilio y su escudo.
12 Yahweh wil keep us in mind, he will bless, he wil bless the House of Israel, he wil bless the Houseof Aaron,	12 Yahveh se acuerda de nosotros, él bendecirá, bendecirá a la casa de Israel, bendecirá a la casa de Aarón,
13 he wil bless those who fear Yahweh, small and great alike.	13 bendecirá a los que temen a Yahveh, a pequeños y grandes.
14 May Yahweh add to your numbers, yours and your children's too!	14 ¡Yahveh os acreciente a vosotros y a vuestros hijos!
15 May you be blessed by Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.	15 ¡Benditos vosotros de Yahveh, que ha hecho los cielos y la tierra!
16 Heaven belongs to Yahweh, but earth he has given to the children of Adam.	16 Los cielos, son los cielos de Yahveh, la tierra, se la ha dado a los hijos de Adán.
17 The dead cannot praise Yahweh, those who sink into silence,	17 No alaban los muertos a Yahveh, ni ninguno de los que bajan al Silencio;
18 but we, the living, shal bless Yahweh, henceforth and for ever.	18 mas nosotros, los vivos, a Yahveh bendecimos, desde ahora y por siempre.
