Psalms 103

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [Of David] Bless Yahweh, my soul, from the depths of my being, his holy name;	1 De David. Bendice al Señor, alma mía, que todo mi ser bendiga a su santo Nombre;
2 bless Yahweh, my soul, never forget al his acts of kindness.	2 bendice al Señor, alma mía, y nunca olvides sus beneficios.
3 He forgives al your offences, cures al your diseases,	3 El perdona todas tus culpas y cura todas tus dolencias;
4 he redeems your life from the abyss, crowns you with faithful love and tenderness;	4 rescata tu vida del sepulcro, te corona de amor y de ternura;
5 he contents you with good things al your life, renews your youth like an eagle's.	5 él colma tu vida de bienes, y tu juventud se renueva como el águila.
6 Yahweh acts with uprightness, with justice to all who are oppressed;	6 El Señor hace obras de justicia y otorga el derecho a los oprimidos;
7 he revealed to Moses his ways, his great deeds to the children of Israel.	7 él mostró sus caminos a Moisés y sus proezas al pueblo de Israel.
8 Yahweh is tenderness and pity, slow to anger and rich in faithful love;	8 El Señor es bondadoso y compasivo, lento para enojarse y de gran misericordia;
9 his indignation does not last for ever, nor his resentment remain for al time;	9 no acusa de manera inapelable ni guarda rencor eternamente;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve, nor repay us as befits our offences.	10 no nos trata según nuestros pecados ni nos paga conforme a nuestras culpas.
11 As the height of heaven above earth, so strong is his faithful love for those who fear him.	11 Cuanto se alza el cielo sobre la tierra, así de inmenso es su amor por os que lo temen;
12 As the distance of east from west, so far from us does he put our faults.	12 cuanto dista el oriente del occidente, así aparta de nosotros nuestros pecados.
13 As tenderly as a father treats his children, so Yahweh treats those who fear him;	13 Como un padre cariñoso con sus hijos, así es cariñoso el Señor con sus fieles;
14 he knows of what we are made, he remembers that we are dust.	14 él conoce de qué estamos hechos, sabe muy bien que no somos más que polvo.
15 As for a human person -- his days are like grass, he blooms like the wild flowers;	15 Los días del hombre son como la hierba: él florece como las flores del campo;
16 as soon as the wind blows he is gone, never to be seen there again.	16 las roza el viento, y ya no existen más, ni el sitio donde estaban las verá otra vez.
17 But Yahweh's faithful love for those who fear him is from eternity and for ever; and his saving justiceto their children's children;	17 Pero el amor del Señor permanece para siempre, y su justicia llega hasta los hijos y los nietos
18 as long as they keep his covenant, and careful y obey his precepts.	18 de los que lo temen y observan su alianza, de los que recuerdan sus preceptos y los cumplen.
19 Yahweh has fixed his throne in heaven, his sovereign power rules over all.	19 El Señor puso su trono en el cielo, y su realeza gobierna el universo.
20 Bless Yahweh, al his angels, mighty warriors who fulfil his commands, attentive to the sound of hiswords.	20 ¡Bendigan al Señor, todos sus ángeles, los fuertes guerreros que cumplen sus órdenes apenas oyen la voz de su palabra!
21 Bless Yahweh, al his armies, servants who fulfil his wishes.	21 ¡Bendigan al Señor, todos sus ejércitos, sus servidores, los que cumplen su voluntad!
22 Bless Yahweh, al his works, in every place where he rules. Bless Yahweh, my soul.	22 ¡Bendíganlo todas sus obras, en todos los lugares donde ejerce su dominio! ¡Bendice al Señor, alma mía!
