11 Mizraim fathered the people of Lud, of Anam, of Lehab, of Naphtuh,11 וּמִצְרַיִם יָלַד אֶת־ [לוּדִיִּים כ] (לוּדִים ק) וְאֶת־עֲנָמִים וְאֶת־לְהָבִים וְאֶת־נַפְתֻּחִים
12 of Pathros, Casluh and Caphtor, from which the Philistines came.12 וְאֶת־פַּתְרֻסִים וְאֶת־כַּסְלֻחִים אֲשֶׁר יָצְאוּ מִשָּׁם פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְאֶת־כַּפְתֹּרִים׃ ס

18 Arpachshad fathered Shelah, and Shelah fathered Eber.18 וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁד יָלַד אֶת־שָׁלַח וְשֶׁלַח יָלַד אֶת־עֵבֶר
19 To Eber were born two sons; the first was cal ed Peleg, because it was in his time that the earth wasdivided into districts, and his brother was cal ed Joktan.19 וּלְעֵבֶר יֻלַּד שְׁנֵי בָנִים שֵׁם הָאֶחָד פֶּלֶג כִּי בְיָמָיו נִפְלְגָה הָאָרֶץ וְשֵׁם אָחִיו יָקְטָן
20 Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,20 וְיָקְטָן יָלַד אֶת־אַלְמֹודָד וְאֶת־שָׁלֶף וְאֶת־חֲצַרְמָוֶת וְאֶת־יָרַח
21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,21 וְאֶת־הֲדֹורָם וְאֶת־אוּזָל וְאֶת־דִּקְלָה
22 Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,22 וְאֶת־עֵיבָל וְאֶת־אֲבִימָאֵל וְאֶת־שְׁבָא
23 Ophir, Havilah, Jobab; al these are sons of Joktan.23 וְאֶת־אֹופִיר וְאֶת־חֲוִילָה וְאֶת־יֹובָב כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יָקְטָן׃ ס
24 Arpachshad, Shelah,24 שֵׁם ׀ אַרְפַּכְשַׁד שָׁלַח
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,25 עֵבֶר פֶּלֶג רְעוּ
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,26 שְׂרוּג נָחֹור תָּרַח

31 Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.31 יְטוּר נָפִישׁ וָקֵדְמָה אֵלֶּה הֵם בְּנֵי יִשְׁמָעֵאל׃ ס
32 Sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she gave birth to Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak,and Shuah. Sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.32 וּבְנֵי קְטוּרָה פִּילֶגֶשׁ אַבְרָהָם יָלְדָה אֶת־זִמְרָן וְיָקְשָׁן וּמְדָן וּמִדְיָן וְיִשְׁבָּק וְשׁוּחַ וּבְנֵי יָקְשָׁן שְׁבָא וּדְדָן׃ ס
33 Sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, Eldaah. Al these are sons of Keturah.33 וּבְנֵי מִדְיָן עֵיפָה וָעֵפֶר וַחֲנֹוךְ וַאֲבִידָע וְאֶלְדָּעָה כָּל־אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי קְטוּרָה׃ ס
34 Abraham fathered Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.34 וַיֹּולֶד אַבְרָהָם אֶת־יִצְחָק ס בְּנֵי יִצְחָק עֵשָׂו וְיִשְׂרָאֵל׃ ס
35 Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam and Korah.35 בְּנֵי עֵשָׂו אֱלִיפַז רְעוּאֵל וִיעוּשׁ וְיַעְלָם וְקֹרַח׃ ס
36 Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, Amalek.36 בְּנֵי אֱלִיפָז תֵּימָן וְאֹומָר צְפִי וְגַעְתָּם קְנַז וְתִמְנָע וַעֲמָלֵק׃ ס
37 Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah.37 בְּנֵי רְעוּאֵל נַחַת זֶרַח שַׁמָּה וּמִזָּה׃ ס
38 Sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, Dishan.38 וּבְנֵי שֵׂעִיר לֹוטָן וְשֹׁובָל וְצִבְעֹון וַעֲנָה וְדִישֹׁן וְאֵצֶר וְדִישָׁן
39 Sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. Sister of Lotan: Timma.39 וּבְנֵי לֹוטָן חֹרִי וְהֹומָם וַאֲחֹות לֹוטָן תִּמְנָע׃ ס
40 Sons of Shobal: Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, Onam. Sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.40 בְּנֵי שֹׁובָל עַלְיָן וּמָנַחַת וְעֵיבָל שְׁפִי וְאֹונָם ס וּבְנֵי צִבְעֹון אַיָּה וַעֲנָה
41 Son of Anah: Dishon. Sons of Dishon: Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, Cheran.41 בְּנֵי עֲנָה דִּישֹׁון ס וּבְנֵי דִישֹׁון חַמְרָן וְאֶשְׁבָּן וְיִתְרָן וּכְרָן׃ ס
42 Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, Jaakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.42 בְּנֵי־אֵצֶר בִּלְהָן וְזַעֲוָן יַעֲקָן בְּנֵי דִישֹׁון עוּץ וַאֲרָן׃ פ
43 These are the kings who ruled in Edom before an Israelite king ruled: Bela son of Beor; his city wascal ed Dinhabah.43 וְאֵלֶּה הַמְּלָכִים אֲשֶׁר מָלְכוּ בְּאֶרֶץ אֱדֹום לִפְנֵי מְלָךְ־מֶלֶךְ לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בֶּלַע בֶּן־בְּעֹור וְשֵׁם עִירֹו דִּנְהָבָה
44 Bela died and Jobab son of Zerah, from Bozrah, succeeded.44 וַיָּמָת בָּלַע וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו יֹובָב בֶּן־זֶרַח מִבָּצְרָה
45 Jobab died and Husham from the territory of the Temanites succeeded.45 וַיָּמָת יֹובָב וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו חוּשָׁם מֵאֶרֶץ הַתֵּימָנִי
46 Husham died and Hada son of Bedad succeeded; he defeated the Midianites in Moab, and his citywas called Avith.46 וַיָּמָת חוּשָׁם וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו הֲדַד בֶּן־בְּדַד הַמַּכֶּה אֶת־מִדְיָן בִּשְׂדֵה מֹואָב וְשֵׁם עִירֹו [עֲיֹות כ] (עֲוִית׃ ק)
47 Hadad died and Samlah of Masrekah succeeded.47 וַיָּמָת הֲדָד וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו שַׂמְלָה מִמַּשְׂרֵקָה
48 Samlah died and Shaul of Rehoboth-ha-Nahar succeeded.48 וַיָּמָת שַׂמְלָה וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו שָׁאוּל מֵרְחֹבֹות הַנָּהָר
49 Shaul died and Baal-Hanan son of Achbor succeeded.49 וַיָּמָת שָׁאוּל וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו בַּעַל חָנָן בֶּן־עַכְבֹּור
50 Baal-Hanan died and Hadad succeeded. His city was cal ed Pai; his wife's name was Mehetabeldaughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.50 וַיָּמָת בַּעַל חָנָן וַיִּמְלֹךְ תַּחְתָּיו הֲדַד וְשֵׁם עִירֹו פָּעִי וְשֵׁם אִשְׁתֹּו מְהֵיטַבְאֵל בַּת־מַטְרֵד בַּת מֵי זָהָב
51 Hadad died, and then there were chiefs in Edom: Chief Timna, Chief Aliah, Chief Jetheth,51 וַיָּמָת הֲדָד ס וַיִּהְיוּ אַלּוּפֵי אֱדֹום אַלּוּף תִּמְנָע אַלּוּף [עַלְיָה כ] (עַלְוָה ק) אַלּוּף יְתֵת
52 Chief Oholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,52 אַלּוּף אָהֳלִיבָמָה אַלּוּף אֵלָה אַלּוּף פִּינֹן
53 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,53 אַלּוּף קְנַז אַלּוּף תֵּימָן אַלּוּף מִבְצָר
