1 These are the descendants of Esau, that is, Edom.	1 1 Questa è la discendenza di Esaù, cioè Edom.
2 Esau chose his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, Oholibamahdaughter of Anah, son of Zibeon the Horite,	2 Esaù prese le sue mogli tra le figlie di Canaan: Ada figlia di Elon l’Hittita; Oolibama figlia di Ana, figlio di Zibeon il Khorreo;
3 Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.	3 Basemat figlia di Ismaele, sorella di Nebaiot.
4 Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,	4 Ada poi partorì a Esaù Elifaz; Basemat partorì Reuel;
5 Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These were the sons of Esau born to him in Canaan.	5 Oolibama partorì Jeush, Jalom e Korakh. Questi sono i figli che nacquero a Esaù nella terra di Canaan.

15 These are the chieftains of Esau. The descendants of Eliphaz, Esau's eldest son: the chieftains ofTeman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,	15 Questi sono i capitribù dei figli di Esaù. 43 Magdiel and Iram. These are the chieftains of Edom, as settled in the territory which they own. Esauwas Edom's ancestor.	43 il capotribù di Magdiel, il capotribù di Iram. Questi sono i capitribù di Edom secondo le loro sedi nel territorio del loro possesso. È appunto Esaù, padre di Edom.
