1 These are the descendants of Esau, that is, Edom.	1 - Questa è la discendenza d'Esaù, detto Edom.
2 Esau chose his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, Oholibamahdaughter of Anah, son of Zibeon the Horite,	2 Esaù prese per mogli, di tra le figlie di Canaan, Ada figlia di Elon heteo, ed Oolibama figlia di Ana figlia di Sebeon heveo,

8 That is why Edom settled in the mountainous region of Seir. Esau is Edom.	8 Dimorò dunque Esaù sul monte Seir; ed egli è [anche chiamato] Edom.
9 These are the descendants of Esau, ancestor of Edom, in the mountainous region of Seir.	9 Queste dunque sono le generazioni d'Esaù padre di Edom nel monte Seir,
10 These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz son of Esau's wife Adah, and Reuel son of Esau's wifeBasemath.	10 e questi sono i nomi de' suoi figliuoli; Elifaz figlio di Ada moglie d'Esaù, e Rauel figlio di Basemat altra moglie di lui.
11 The sons of Eliphaz were: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz.	11 Elifaz ebbe per figli Teman, Omar, Sefo, Gatam e Cenez.
12 Eliphaz son of Esau had Timna for concubine and she bore him Amalek. These were the sons ofEsau's wife Adah.	12 Era poi Tamna altra donna di Elifaz figlio di Esaù, e gli partorì Amalec: sono questi i discendenti da Ada moglie di Esaù.

20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, natives of the country: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,	20 Questi sono i figli di Seir l'Horreo, che abitavano quella terra: Lotan, Sobal, Sebeon, Ana,
21 Dishon, Ezer and Dishan; these were the Horite chieftains descended from Seir, in Edom.	21 Dison, Eser e Disan. Sono i principi Horrei, figli di Seir nella terra di Edom.
