Psalms 48

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 A psalm of the Korahites. A song.	1 تسبيحة مزمور. لبني قورح‎. ‎عظيم هو الرب وحميد جدا في مدينة الهنا جبل قدسه‎.
2 Great is the LORD and highly praised in the city of our God: The holy mountain,	2 ‎جميل الارتفاع فرح كل الارض جبل صهيون. فرح اقاصي الشمال مدينة الملك العظيم‎.
3 fairest of heights, the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, the heights of Zaphon, the city of the great king.	3 ‎الله في قصورها يعرف ملجأ
4 God is its citadel, renowned as a stronghold.	4 لانه هوذا الملوك اجتمعوا. مضوا جميعا‎.
5 See! The kings assembled, together they invaded.	5 ‎لما رأوا بهتوا ارتاعوا فرّوا‎.
6 When they looked they were astounded; terrified, they were put to flight!	6 ‎اخذتهم الرعدة هناك. والمخاض كوالدة‎.
7 Trembling seized them there, anguish, like a woman's labor,	7 ‎بريح شرقية تكسر سفن ترشيش‎.
8 As when the east wind wrecks the ships of Tarshish!	8 ‎كما سمعنا هكذا رأينا في مدينة رب الجنود في مدينة الهنا. الله يثبّتها الى الابد. سلاه
9 What we had heard we now see in the city of the LORD of hosts, In the city of our God, founded to last forever. Selah	9 ذكرنا يا الله رحمتك في وسط هيكلك‎.
10 O God, within your temple we ponder your steadfast love.	10 ‎نظير اسمك يا الله تسبيحك الى اقاصي الارض. يمينك ملآنة برا‎.
11 Like your name, O God, your praise reaches the ends of the earth. Your right hand is fully victorious.	11 ‎يفرح جبل صهيون تبتهج بنات يهوذا من اجل احكامك
12 Mount Zion is glad! The cities of Judah rejoice because of your saving deeds!	12 طوفوا بصهيون ودوروا حولها. عدوّا ابراجها‎.
13 Go about Zion, walk all around it, note the number of its towers.	13 ‎ضعوا قلوبكم على متارسها. تأملوا قصورها لكي تحدثوا بها جيلا آخر‎.
14 Consider the ramparts, examine its citadels, that you may tell future generations:	14 ‎لان الله هذا هو الهنا الى الدهر والابد. هو يهدينا حتى الى‏ الموت
15 "Yes, so mighty is God, our God who leads us always!"
