1 A psalm of the Korahites. A song.	1 Cántico. Salmo. De los hijos de Coré.
2 Great is the LORD and highly praised in the city of our God: The holy mountain,	2 Grande es Yahveh, y muy digno de loa en la ciudad de nuestro Dios; su monte santo,
3 fairest of heights, the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, the heights of Zaphon, the city of the great king.	3 de gallarda esbeltez, es la alegría de toda la tierra; el monte Sión, confín del Norte, la ciudad del gran Rey:
4 God is its citadel, renowned as a stronghold.	4 Dios, desde sus palacios, se ha revelado como baluarte.
5 See! The kings assembled, together they invaded.	5 He aquí que los reyes se habían aliado, irrumpían a una;
6 When they looked they were astounded; terrified, they were put to flight!	6 apenas vieron, de golpe estupefactos, aterrados, huyeron en tropel.
7 Trembling seized them there, anguish, like a woman's labor,	7 Allí un temblor les invadió, espasmos como de mujer en parto,
8 As when the east wind wrecks the ships of Tarshish!	8 tal el viento del este que destroza los navíos de Tarsis.
9 What we had heard we now see in the city of the LORD of hosts, In the city of our God, founded to last forever. Selah	9 Como habíamos oído lo hemos visto en la ciudad de Yahveh Sebaot, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios, que Dios afirmó para siempre. Pausa.
10 O God, within your temple we ponder your steadfast love.	10 Tu amor, oh Dios, evocamos en medio de tu Templo;
11 Like your name, O God, your praise reaches the ends of the earth. Your right hand is fully victorious.	11 ¡como tu nombre, oh Dios, tu alabanza hasta los confines de la tierra! De justicia está llena tu diestra,
12 Mount Zion is glad! The cities of Judah rejoice because of your saving deeds!	12 el monte Sión se regocija, exultan las hijas de Judá a causa de tus juicios.
13 Go about Zion, walk all around it, note the number of its towers.	13 Dad la vuelta a Sión, girad en torno de ella, enumerad sus torres;
14 Consider the ramparts, examine its citadels, that you may tell future generations:	14 grabad en vuestros corazones sus murallas, recorred sus palacios; para contar a la edad venidera
15 "Yes, so mighty is God, our God who leads us always!"	15 que así es Dios, nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos, aquel que nos conduce.
