1 Bezaleel fece l'arca di legno di acacia: aveva due cubiti e mezzo di lunghezza, un cubito e mezzo di larghezza, un cubito e mezzo di altezza.	1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide and oneand a half cubits high.
2 La rivestì d'oro puro, dentro e fuori. Le fece intorno un bordo d'oro.	2 He overlaid it, inside and out, with pure gold, and made a gold moulding al round it.
3 Fuse per essa quattro anelli d'oro e li fissò ai suoi quattro piedi: due anelli su di un lato e due anelli sull'altro.	3 He cast four gold rings for it at its four supports: two rings on one side and two rings on the other.
4 Fece stanghe di legno di acacia e le rivestì d'oro.	4 He also made shafts of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold,
5 Introdusse le stanghe negli anelli sui due lati dell'arca per trasportare l'arca.	5 and passed the shafts through the rings on the sides of the ark, by which to carry it.
6 Fece il coperchio d'oro puro: aveva due cubiti e mezzo di lunghezza e un cubito e mezzo di larghezza.	6 He also made a mercy-seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide,
7 Fece due cherubini d'oro: li fece lavorati a martello sulle due estremità del coperchio:	7 and model ed two great winged creatures of beaten gold, putting them at the two ends of the mercy-seat,
8 un cherubino ad una estremità e un cherubino all'altra estremità. Fece i cherubini tutti di un pezzo con il coperchio, alle sue due estremità.	8 one winged creature at one end and the other winged creature at the other end, making the wingedcreatures of a piece with the mercy-seat at either end.
9 I cherubini avevano le due ali stese di sopra, proteggendo con le ali il coperchio; erano rivolti l'uno verso l'altro e le facce dei cherubini erano rivolte verso il coperchio.	9 The winged creatures had their wings spread upwards, protecting the ark with their wings and facingeach other, their faces being towards the mercy-seat.
10 Fece la tavola di legno di acacia: aveva due cubiti di lunghezza, un cubito di larghezza, un cubito e mezzo di altezza.	10 He made the table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide and one and a half cubits high,
11 La rivestì d'oro puro e le fece intorno un bordo d'oro.	11 and made a gold moulding all round it.
12 Le fece attorno una cornice di un palmo e un bordo d'oro per la cornice.	12 He fitted it with struts a hand's breadth wide and made a gold moulding round the struts.
13 Fuse per essa quattro anelli d'oro e li fissò ai quattro angoli che costituivano i suoi quattro piedi.	13 He cast four gold rings for it and fixed the rings at the four corners where the four legs were.
14 Gli anelli erano fissati alla cornice e servivano per inserire le stanghe destinate a trasportare la tavola.	14 The rings lay close to the struts to hold the shafts for carrying the table.
15 Fece le stanghe di legno di acacia e le rivestì d'oro.	15 He made the shafts of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold; these were for carrying the table.
16 Fece anche gli accessori della tavola: piatti, coppe, anfore e tazze per le libazioni; li fece di oro puro.	16 He made the accessories which were to go on the table: its dishes, cups, jars and libation bowls, ofpure gold.
17 Fece il candelabro d'oro puro; lo fece lavorato a martello, il suo fusto e i suoi bracci; i suoi calici, i suoi bulbi e le sue corolle facevano corpo con esso.	17 He also made the lamp-stand of pure gold, making the lamp-stand, base and stem, of beaten gold,its cups, calyxes and bud being of a piece with it.
18 Sei bracci uscivano dai suoi lati: tre bracci del candelabro da un lato e tre bracci del candelabro dall'altro.	18 Six branches sprang from its sides: three of the lamp-stand's branches from one side, three of thelamp-stand's branches from the other.
19 Vi erano su un braccio tre calici in forma di fiore di mandorlo, con bulbo e corolla; anche sull'altro braccio tre calici in forma di fiore di mandorlo, con bulbo e corolla. Così era per i sei bracci che uscivano dal candelabro.	19 The first branch carried three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud; thesecond branch, too, carried three cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud, and similarlyal six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
20 Il fusto del candelabro aveva quattro calici in forma di fiore di mandorlo, con i loro bulbi e le loro corolle:	20 The lamp-stand itself carried four cups shaped like almond blossoms, each with its calyx and bud:
21 un bulbo sotto due bracci che si dipartivano da esso, e un bulbo sotto i due altri bracci che si dipartivano da esso, e un bulbo sotto i due altri bracci che si dipartivano da esso; così per tutti i sei bracci che uscivano dal candelabro.	21 one calyx under the first two branches springing from the lamp-stand, one calyx under the next pairof branches and one calyx under the last pair of branches -- thus for al six branches springing from the lamp-stand.
22 I bulbi e i relativi bracci facevano corpo con esso: il tutto era formato da una sola massa d'oro puro lavorata a martello.	22 The calyxes and the branches were of a piece with the lamp-stand, and the whole was made from asingle piece of pure gold, beaten out.
23 Fece le sue sette lampade, i suoi smoccolatoi e i suoi portacenere d'oro puro.	23 He also made its seven lamps, its snuffers and trays of pure gold.
24 Impiegò un talento d'oro puro per esso e per tutti i suoi accessori.	24 He made the lamp-stand and all its accessories from a talent of pure gold.
25 Fece l'altare per bruciare l'incenso, di legno di acacia; aveva un cubito di lunghezza e un cubito di larghezza, era cioè quadrato; aveva due cubiti di altezza e i suoi corni erano di un sol pezzo.	25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood, one cubit long, and one cubit wide -- it was square --and two cubits high, its horns were of a piece with it.
26 Rivestì d'oro puro il suo piano, i suoi lati, i suoi corni e gli fece intorno un orlo d'oro.	26 He overlaid its top, its sides al round and its horns with pure gold and made a moulding to go alround.
27 Fece anche due anelli d'oro sotto l'orlo, sui due fianchi, cioè sui due lati opposti; servivano per inserire le stanghe destinate a trasportarlo.	27 He made two gold rings for it below the moulding on its two opposite sides, to take the shafts usedfor carrying it.
28 Fece le stanghe di legno di acacia e le rivestì d'oro.	28 He made the shafts of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
29 Preparò l'olio dell'unzione sacra e il profumo aromatico da bruciare, puro, secondo l'arte del profumiere.	29 He also made the holy anointing oil and the fragrant incense, blending it as a perfumer would.
