1 Du maître de chant. "Ne détruis pas."Psaume. D'Asaph. Cantique.	1 To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. We give thanks to thee, O God; we give thanks; we call on thy name and recount thy wondrous deeds.
2 A toi nous rendons grâce, ô Dieu, nous rendons grâce, en invoquant ton nom, en racontant tesmerveilles.	2 At the set time which I appoint I will judge with equity.
3 "Au moment que j'aurai décidé, je ferai, moi, droite justice;	3 When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. [Selah]
4 la terre s'effondre et tous ses habitants; j'ai fixé, moi, ses colonnes.	4 I say to the boastful, "Do not boast," and to the wicked, "Do not lift up your horn;
5 "J'ai dit aux arrogants: Pas d'arrogance! aux impies: Ne levez pas le front,	5 do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with insolent neck."
6 ne levez pas si haut votre front, ne parlez pas en raidissant l'échine."	6 For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up;
7 Car ce n'est plus du levant au couchant, ce n'est plus au désert des montagnes	7 but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.
8 qu'en vérité, Dieu le juge, abaisse l'un ou élève l'autre:	8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, with foaming wine, well mixed; and he will pour a draught from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.
9 Yahvé a en main une coupe, et c'est de vin fermenté qu'est rempli le breuvage; il en versera, ils ensuceront la lie, ils boiront, tous les impies de la terre.	9 But I will rejoice for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 Et moi, j'annoncerai à jamais, je jouerai pour le Dieu de Jacob;	10 All the horns of the wicked he will cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
11 je briserai la vigueur des impies; et la vigueur du juste se dressera.
