1 The Lamb then broke the seventh seal, and there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 Lorsqu'il (l'Agneau) eut ouvert le septième sceau, il se fit dans le ciel un silence d'environ une demi-heure.
2 Next I saw seven trumpets being given to the seven angels who stand in the presence of God.	2 Et je vis les sept anges qui se tiennent (debout) devant (en présence de) Dieu, et sept trompettes leur furent données.
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. A large quantity of incense wasgiven to him to offer with the prayers of al the saints on the golden altar that stood in front of the throne;	3 Et un autre ange vint et se plaça devant l'autel, ayant un encensoir d'or ; et il lui fut donné beaucoup de parfums, afin qu'il (les) offrît, (avec) les prières de tous les saints, sur l'autel d'or qui est devant le trône de Dieu.
4 and so from the angel's hand the smoke of the incense went up in the presence of God and with it theprayers of the saints.	4 Et la fumée des parfums monta, avec les (composée des) prières des saints, de la main de l'ange devant Dieu.
5 Then the angel took the censer and fil ed it from the fire of the altar, which he then hurled down onto theearth; immediately there came peals of thunder and flashes of lightning, and the earth shook.	5 Et l'ange prit l'encensoir et le remplit du feu de l'autel, et le jeta sur la terre ; et il y eut des tonnerres, des voix, des éclairs, et un grand tremblement de terre.
6 The seven angels that had the seven trumpets now made ready to sound them.	6 Et les sept anges qui avaient les sept trompettes se préparèrent à en sonner.
7 The first blew his trumpet and, with that, hail and fire, mixed with blood, were hurled on the earth: a thirdof the earth was burnt up, and a third of al trees, and every blade of grass was burnt.	7 Le premier ange sonna de la trompette ; et il y eut de la grêle et du feu mêlés de sang, qui furent jetés sur la terre ; et la troisième partie de la terre fut brûlée, et la troisième partie des arbres fut brûlée, et toute herbe verte fut brûlée.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and it was as though a great mountain blazing with fire was hurledinto the sea: a third of the sea turned into blood,	8 Le second ange sonna de la trompette ; et quelque chose comme une grande montagne embrasée par le feu fut jeté dans la mer, et la troisième partie de la mer devint du sang,
9 a third of al the living things in the sea were kil ed, and a third of all ships were destroyed.	9 et la troisième partie des créatures vivantes qui sont dans la mer mourut, et la troisième partie des navires périt.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a huge star fel from the sky, burning like a ball of fire, and it felon a third of all rivers and on the springs of water;	10 Le troisième ange sonna de la trompette ; et il tomba du ciel une grande étoile, brûlante (ardente) comme un flambeau ; et elle tomba sur la troisième partie des fleuves, et sur les sources des eaux.
11 this was the star called Wormwood, and a third of al water turned to wormwood, so that many peopledied; the water had become so bitter.	11 Le nom de cette étoile était Absinthe ; et la troisième partie des eaux fut changée en absinthe et un grand nombre d'hommes moururent par les eaux, parce qu'elles étaient devenues amères.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of thestars were blasted, so that the light went out of a third of them and the day lost a third of its il umination, andlikewise the night.	12 Le quatrième ange sonna de la trompette ; et la troisième partie du soleil fut frappée, et la troisième partie de la lune, et la troisième partie des étoiles, de sorte que la troisième partie en fût obscurcie, et que le jour perdît la troisième partie de sa clarté (lumière), et la nuit de même.
13 In my vision, I heard an eagle, cal ing aloud as it flew high overhead, 'Disaster, disaster, disaster, onal the people on earth at the sound of the other three trumpets which the three angels have yet to blow!'	13 Alors je vis, et j'entendis la voix d'un aigle qui volait par le milieu du ciel, en disant d'une voix forte : Malheur ! malheur ! (malheur) aux habitants de la terre, à cause du son des trompettes des trois autres anges qui doivent encore sonner !
