1 The Lamb then broke the seventh seal, and there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 וכפתחו החותם השביעי ותהי דממה בשמים כחצי שעה
2 Next I saw seven trumpets being given to the seven angels who stand in the presence of God.	2 וארא את שבעת המלאכים אשר עמדו לפני האלהים וינתנו להם שבעה שופרות
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. A large quantity of incense wasgiven to him to offer with the prayers of al the saints on the golden altar that stood in front of the throne;	3 ויבא מלאך אחר ויגש אל המזבח ומחתת זהב בידו ותנתן לו קטרת הרבה לתתה עם תפלות כל הקדשים על מזבח הזהב אשר לפני הכסא
4 and so from the angel's hand the smoke of the incense went up in the presence of God and with it theprayers of the saints.	4 ויעל עשן הקטרת עם תפלות הקדשים מיד המלאך לפני אלהים
5 Then the angel took the censer and fil ed it from the fire of the altar, which he then hurled down onto theearth; immediately there came peals of thunder and flashes of lightning, and the earth shook.	5 ויקח המלאך את המחתה וימלאה אש מעל המזבח וישלך על הארץ ויהי קולות ורעמים וברקים ורעש
6 The seven angels that had the seven trumpets now made ready to sound them.	6 ושבעה המלאכים ההם אשר בידם שבעת השופרות התעתדו לתקע
7 The first blew his trumpet and, with that, hail and fire, mixed with blood, were hurled on the earth: a thirdof the earth was burnt up, and a third of al trees, and every blade of grass was burnt.	7 והמלאך הראשון תקע בשופר ויהי ברד ואש בלולים בדם ותשלך ארצה ותשרף שלישית העץ וכל ירק עשב נשרף
8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and it was as though a great mountain blazing with fire was hurledinto the sea: a third of the sea turned into blood,	8 והמלאך השני תקע בשופר והנה כדמות הר גדול בער באש השלך אל תוך הים ותהי שלישית הים לדם
9 a third of al the living things in the sea were kil ed, and a third of all ships were destroyed.	9 ותמת שלישית כל נפש חיה אשר בים ושלישית האניות נשחתה
10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a huge star fel from the sky, burning like a ball of fire, and it felon a third of all rivers and on the springs of water;	10 והמלאך השלישי תקע בשופר ויפל מן השמים כוכב גדול בער כלפיד ויפל על שלישית הנהרות ועל מעינות המים
11 this was the star called Wormwood, and a third of al water turned to wormwood, so that many peopledied; the water had become so bitter.	11 ושם הכוכב נקרא לענה ותהי שלישית המים ללענה ורבים מבני אדם מתו מן המים כי מרים היו
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of thestars were blasted, so that the light went out of a third of them and the day lost a third of its il umination, andlikewise the night.	12 והמלאך הרביעי תקע בשופר ותכה שלישית השמש ושלישית הירח ושלישית הכוכבים למען תחשך שלישיתם והיום לא יאיר שלישיתו וכן גם הלילה
13 In my vision, I heard an eagle, cal ing aloud as it flew high overhead, 'Disaster, disaster, disaster, onal the people on earth at the sound of the other three trumpets which the three angels have yet to blow!'	13 וארא ואשמע מלאך אחד מעופף במרום הרקיע הקורא בקול גדול אוי אוי אוי לישבי הארץ משאר קלות שופר שלשת המלאכים העתידים לתקע
