1 The Lamb then broke the seventh seal, and there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 Amint a hetedik pecsétet felnyitotta, csend lett az égben mintegy félóráig.
2 Next I saw seven trumpets being given to the seven angels who stand in the presence of God.	2 Láttam a hét angyalt, akik Isten előtt állnak, és hét harsonát adtak nekik.
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. A large quantity of incense wasgiven to him to offer with the prayers of al the saints on the golden altar that stood in front of the throne;	3 Aztán egy másik angyal jött, és megállt az oltár előtt arany tömjénezővel. Sok jó illatszert adtak neki, hogy mindegyik szent imádságából tegyen az arany oltárra, amely Isten trónja előtt áll.
4 and so from the angel's hand the smoke of the incense went up in the presence of God and with it theprayers of the saints.	4 A jó illatszerek füstje fölszállt a szentek imádságából, az angyal kezéből Isten előtt.
5 Then the angel took the censer and fil ed it from the fire of the altar, which he then hurled down onto theearth; immediately there came peals of thunder and flashes of lightning, and the earth shook.	5 Az angyal fogta a tömjénezőt, tett bele az oltár tüzéből , és ledobta a földre. Akkor mennydörgés, zúgás, villámlás és nagy földrengés támadt.
6 The seven angels that had the seven trumpets now made ready to sound them.	6 A hét angyal, akiknél a hét harsona volt, felkészült, hogy megfújja a harsonát.
7 The first blew his trumpet and, with that, hail and fire, mixed with blood, were hurled on the earth: a thirdof the earth was burnt up, and a third of al trees, and every blade of grass was burnt.	7 Az első angyal megfújta a harsonát. Erre vérrel vegyes jégeső és tűz támadt, és a földre hullott. A föld harmadrésze megégett, a fák harmadrésze elhamvadt, és minden zöldellő fűszál kiégett.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and it was as though a great mountain blazing with fire was hurledinto the sea: a third of the sea turned into blood,	8 A második angyal megfújta a harsonát. Valami tűzzel égő nagy hegy zuhant a tengerbe, és a tenger harmadrésze vérré változott .
9 a third of al the living things in the sea were kil ed, and a third of all ships were destroyed.	9 Ekkor meghalt a tengerben élő teremtmények harmadrésze, és a hajók harmadrésze elpusztult.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a huge star fel from the sky, burning like a ball of fire, and it felon a third of all rivers and on the springs of water;	10 A harmadik angyal megfújta a harsonát, és egy nagy csillag hullott le az égből, égve, mint a fáklya, beleesett a folyók harmadrészébe és a vizek forrásaiba.
11 this was the star called Wormwood, and a third of al water turned to wormwood, so that many peopledied; the water had become so bitter.	11 A csillag neve: Üröm. A vizek harmadrésze ürömmé változott, és számos ember meghalt a vizektől, mert keserűek lettek.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of thestars were blasted, so that the light went out of a third of them and the day lost a third of its il umination, andlikewise the night.	12 A negyedik angyal megfújta a harsonát, és csapás érte a nap harmadát, a hold harmadrészét és a csillagok harmadrészét, hogy harmadrészük elsötétüljön, és a nappal harmadrésze ne ragyogjon, és az éjjelé hasonlóképpen.
13 In my vision, I heard an eagle, cal ing aloud as it flew high overhead, 'Disaster, disaster, disaster, onal the people on earth at the sound of the other three trumpets which the three angels have yet to blow!'	13 Ekkor láttam és hallottam, hogy egy magányos sas repült át az égen, és hangosan így kiáltott: »Jaj, jaj, jaj a föld lakóinak a másik három angyal további harsonázása miatt, akik ezután fogják megfújni a harsonát!«
