Romans 12

1 I urge you, then, brothers, remembering the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, dedicated and acceptable to God; that is the kind of worship for you, as sensible people.	1 Итак умоляю вас, братия, милосердием Божиим, представьте тела ваши в жертву живую, святую, благоугодную Богу, [для] разумного служения вашего,
2 Do not model your behaviour on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your mindstransform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the wil of God -- what is good and acceptable andmature.	2 и не сообразуйтесь с веком сим, но преобразуйтесь обновлением ума вашего, чтобы вам познавать, что есть воля Божия, благая, угодная и совершенная.
3 And through the grace that I have been given, I say this to every one of you: never pride yourself onbeing better than you real y are, but think of yourself dispassionately, recognising that God has given to eachone his measure of faith.	3 По данной мне благодати, всякому из вас говорю: не думайте [о] [себе] более, нежели должно думать; но думайте скромно, по мере веры, какую каждому Бог уделил.
4 Just as each of us has various parts in one body, and the parts do not al have the same function:	4 Ибо, как в одном теле у нас много членов, но не у всех членов одно и то же дело,
5 in the same way, al of us, though there are so many of us, make up one body in Christ, and asdifferent parts we are al joined to one another.	5 так мы, многие, составляем одно тело во Христе, а порознь один для другого члены.
6 Then since the gifts that we have differ according to the grace that was given to each of us: if it is agift of prophecy, we should prophesy as much as our faith tells us;	6 И как, по данной нам благодати, имеем различные дарования, [то], [имеешь ли] пророчество, [пророчествуй] по мере веры;
7 if it is a gift of practical service, let us devote ourselves to serving; if it is teaching, to teaching;	7 [имеешь ли] служение, [пребывай] в служении; учитель ли, --в учении;
8 if it is encouraging, to encouraging. When you give, you should give generously from the heart; if youare put in charge, you must be conscientious; if you do works of mercy, let it be because you enjoy doing them.	8 увещатель ли, увещевай; раздаватель ли, [раздавай] в простоте; начальник ли, [начальствуй] с усердием; благотворитель ли, [благотвори] с радушием.
9 Let love be without any pretence. Avoid what is evil; stick to what is good.	9 Любовь [да будет] непритворна; отвращайтесь зла, прилепляйтесь к добру;
10 In brotherly love let your feelings of deep affection for one another come to expression and regardothers as more important than yourself.	10 будьте братолюбивы друг к другу с нежностью; в почтительности друг друга предупреждайте;
11 In the service of the Lord, work not halfheartedly but with conscientiousness and an eager spirit.	11 в усердии не ослабевайте; духом пламенейте; Господу служите;
12 Be joyful in hope, persevere in hardship; keep praying regularly;	12 утешайтесь надеждою; в скорби [будьте] терпеливы, в молитве постоянны;
13 share with any of God's holy people who are in need; look for opportunities to be hospitable.	13 в нуждах святых принимайте участие; ревнуйте о странноприимстве.
14 Bless your persecutors; never curse them, bless them.	14 Благословляйте гонителей ваших; благословляйте, а не проклинайте.
15 Rejoice with others when they rejoice, and be sad with those in sorrow.	15 Радуйтесь с радующимися и плачьте с плачущими.
16 Give the same consideration to al others alike. Pay no regard to social standing, but meet humblepeople on their own terms. Do not congratulate yourself on your own wisdom.	16 Будьте единомысленны между собою; не высокомудрствуйте, но последуйте смиренным; не мечтайте о себе;
17 Never pay back evil with evil, but bear in mind the ideals that all regard with respect.	17 никому не воздавайте злом за зло, но пекитесь о добром перед всеми человеками.
18 As much as possible, and to the utmost of your ability, be at peace with everyone.	18 Если возможно с вашей стороны, будьте в мире со всеми людьми.
19 Never try to get revenge: leave that, my dear friends, to the Retribution. As scripture says:Vengeance is mine -- I wil pay them back, the Lord promises.	19 Не мстите за себя, возлюбленные, но дайте место гневу [Божию]. Ибо написано: Мне отмщение, Я воздам, говорит Господь.
20 And more: If your enemy is hungry, give him something to eat; if thirsty, something to drink. By this,you wil be heaping red-hot coals on his head.	20 Итак, если враг твой голоден, накорми его; если жаждет, напой его: ибо, делая сие, ты соберешь ему на голову горящие уголья.
21 Do not be mastered by evil, but master evil with good.	21 Не будь побежден злом, но побеждай зло добром.
