Mark 15

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 First thing in the morning, the chief priests, together with the elders and scribes and the rest of theSanhedrin, had their plan ready. They had Jesus bound and took him away and handed him over to Pilate.	1 A főpapok a vénekkel, az írástudókkal és az egész főtanáccsal kora reggel tanácsot tartottak, aztán megkötözték Jézust, majd elvezették és átadták Pilátusnak.
2 Pilate put to him this question, 'Are you the king of the Jews?' He replied, 'It is you who say it.'	2 Pilátus megkérdezte őt: »Te vagy-e a zsidók királya?« Ő azt felelte neki: »Te mondod.«
3 And the chief priests brought many accusations against him.	3 A főpapok sok mindennel vádolták őt.
4 Pilate questioned him again, 'Have you no reply at al ? See how many accusations they are bringingagainst you!'	4 Pilátus ezért újra megkérdezte őt: »Semmit sem felelsz? Nézd, mi mindennel vádolnak téged!«
5 But, to Pilate's surprise, Jesus made no further reply.	5 De Jézus egy szót sem szólt többé, Pilátus pedig csodálkozott ezen.
6 At festival time Pilate used to release a prisoner for them, any one they asked for.	6 Ünnep alkalmával el szokta nekik bocsátani a foglyok közül azt, akit kérnek.
7 Now a man called Barabbas was then in prison with the rebels who had committed murder during theuprising.	7 Volt akkor egy Barabás nevű, akit a lázadókkal együtt fogtak el, s aki a lázadás során gyilkosságot követett el.
8 When the crowd went up and began to ask Pilate the customary favour,	8 Felvonult tehát a tömeg, és kérni kezdte azt, amit mindig megtett nekik.
9 Pilate answered them, 'Do you want me to release for you the king of the Jews?'	9 Pilátus azt felelte nekik: »Akarjátok-e, hogy elbocsássam nektek a zsidók királyát?«
10 For he realised it was out of jealousy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over.	10 Tudta ugyanis, hogy a főpapok irigységből adták őt a kezébe.
11 The chief priests, however, had incited the crowd to demand that he should release Barabbas forthem instead.	11 A főpapok azonban felizgatták a tömeget, hogy inkább Barabást bocsássa el nekik.
12 Then Pilate spoke again, 'But in that case, what am I to do with the man you call king of the Jews?'	12 Pilátus újra megkérdezte tőlük: »Mit akartok tehát, mit tegyek a zsidók királyával?«
13 They shouted back, 'Crucify him!'	13 Azok újra csak azt kiáltozták: »Feszítsd meg őt!«
14 Pilate asked them, 'What harm has he done?' But they shouted al the louder, 'Crucify him!'	14 Pilátus megkérdezte őket: »De hát mi rosszat tett?« Azok erre még hangosabban kiáltoztak: »Feszítsd meg őt!«
15 So Pilate, anxious to placate the crowd, released Barabbas for them and, after having Jesusscourged, he handed him over to be crucified.	15 Pilátus ekkor, mivel eleget akart tenni a népnek, elbocsátotta a kedvükért Barabást, Jézust pedig megostoroztatta, és átadta, hogy feszítsék keresztre.
16 The soldiers led him away to the inner part of the palace, that is, the Praetorium, and cal ed thewhole cohort together.	16 Ekkor a katonák bevitték őt a csarnokba, vagyis a helytartóságra, és összehívták az egész csapatot.
17 They dressed him up in purple, twisted some thorns into a crown and put it on him.	17 Felöltöztették bíborruhába, tövisből koronát fontak és a fejére tették,
18 And they began saluting him, 'Hail, king of the Jews!'	18 azután elkezdték őt így köszöntgetni: »Üdvözlégy, Zsidók Királya!«
19 They struck his head with a reed and spat on him; and they went down on their knees to do himhomage.	19 Majd náddal verték a fejét, leköpdösték, és térdet hajtva hódoltak előtte.
20 And when they had finished making fun of him, they took off the purple and dressed him in his ownclothes. They led him out to crucify him.	20 Miután csúfot űztek belőle, levették róla a bíbort, ráadták saját ruháit, és kivitték, hogy keresztre feszítsék.
21 They enlisted a passer-by, Simon of Cyrene, father of Alexander and Rufus, who was coming in fromthe country, to carry his cross.	21 Cirenei Simont, Sándor és Rúfusz atyját, aki a mezőről jövet éppen arra járt, arra kényszerítették, hogy vigye a keresztjét.
22 They brought Jesus to the place cal ed Golgotha, which means the place of the skul .	22 Kivitték a Golgota nevű helyre, ami azt jelenti, hogy ‘Koponyahely’.
23 They offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he refused it.	23 Mirhával kevert bort adtak neki inni, de nem fogadta el.
24 Then they crucified him, and shared out his clothing, casting lots to decide what each should get.	24 Azután keresztre feszítették, a ruháit pedig elosztották, sorsot vetve rájuk , hogy ki mit kapjon.
25 It was the third hour when they crucified him.	25 A harmadik óra volt, amikor keresztre feszítették.
26 The inscription giving the charge against him read, 'The King of the Jews'.	26 Fel volt írva az ítélet oka: »A zsidók királya.«
27 And they crucified two bandits with him, one on his right and one on his left.	27 Megfeszítettek vele két rablót is, az egyiket jobbról, a másikat balról.

29 The passers-by jeered at him; they shook their heads and said, 'Aha! So you would destroy theTemple and rebuild it in three days!	29 Az arra járók pedig a fejüket csóválva káromolták őt , s ezt mondták: »Hé! Te, aki lebontod a templomot és három nap alatt felépíted,
30 Then save yourself; come down from the cross!'	30 mentsd meg magadat, szállj le a keresztről!«
31 The chief priests and the scribes mocked him among themselves in the same way with the words,'He saved others, he cannot save himself.	31 Ugyanígy a főpapok is az írástudókkal együtt csúfolódva ezt mondogatták egymásnak: »Másokat megmentett, magát meg nem tudja megmenteni!
32 Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down from the cross now, for us to see it and believe.' Eventhose who were crucified with him taunted him.	32 A Krisztus, Izrael királya szálljon le most a keresztről, hogy lássuk és higgyünk!« Gyalázták őt azok is, akiket vele együtt feszítettek keresztre.
33 When the sixth hour came there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.	33 A hatodik órában sötétség borult az egész földre a kilencedik óráig.
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eloi, eloi, lama sabachthani?' which means, 'MyGod, my God, why have you forsaken me?'	34 A kilencedik órakor Jézus felkiáltott, és hangosan így szólt: »Éloí, Éloí, lemá szabaktáni?« Ez azt jelenti: »Istenem, Istenem, miért hagytál el engem?«
35 When some of those who stood by heard this, they said, 'Listen, he is cal ing on Elijah.'	35 Az ott állók közül egyesek, amikor ezt hallották, azt mondták: »Íme, Illést hívja.«
36 Someone ran and soaked a sponge in vinegar and, putting it on a reed, gave it to him to drink saying,'Wait! And see if Elijah wil come to take him down.'	36 Az egyikük odafutott, egy szivacsot ecetbe mártott, és nádszálra tűzve inni adott neki , és így szólt: »Hagyjátok! Lássuk, eljön-e Illés, hogy levegye őt!«
37 But Jesus gave a loud cry and breathed his last.	37 Jézus pedig hangosan felkiáltott és kilehelte lelkét.
38 And the veil of the Sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom.	38 Ekkor a templom függönye kettészakadt fölülről egészen az aljáig.
39 The centurion, who was standing in front of him, had seen how he had died, and he said, 'In truth thisman was Son of God.'	39 Mikor a százados, aki vele szemben állt, látta, hogy így kiáltva kiadta a lelkét, ezt mondta: »Ez az ember valóban Isten Fia volt.«
40 There were some women watching from a distance. Among them were Mary of Magdala, Mary whowas the mother of James the younger and Joset, and Salome.	40 Asszonyok is voltak, akik messziről figyelték. Köztük volt Mária Magdolna és Mária, az ifjabb Jakab és József anyja, és Szalóme,
41 These used to follow him and look after him when he was in Galilee. And many other women werethere who had come up to Jerusalem with him.	41 akik, amikor még Galileában járt, követték őt és szolgáltak neki; és még sok más asszony, akik vele együtt mentek fel Jeruzsálembe.
42 It was now evening, and since it was Preparation Day -- that is, the day before the Sabbath-	42 Mikor beesteledett – mivel a készület napja, azaz szombat előtti nap volt –,
43 there came Joseph of Arimathaea, a prominent member of the Council, who himself lived in the hopeof seeing the kingdom of God, and he boldly went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.	43 odajött az arimateai József, egy előkelő tanácsos, aki maga is várta az Isten országát. Bátran bement Pilátushoz, és elkérte Jézus testét.
44 Pilate, astonished that he should have died so soon, summoned the centurion and enquired if he hadbeen dead for some time.	44 Pilátus nem akarta elhinni, hogy már meghalt. Hívatta a századost, és megkérdezte, hogy valóban meghalt-e.
45 Having been assured of this by the centurion, he granted the corpse to Joseph	45 Amikor a századostól megbizonyosodott erről, Józsefnek ajándékozta a testet.
46 who bought a shroud, took Jesus down from the cross, wrapped him in the shroud and laid him in atomb which had been hewn out of the rock. He then rol ed a stone against the entrance to the tomb.	46 József pedig gyolcsot vásárolt, levette őt, és begöngyölte a gyolcsba. Azután egy sziklába vágott sírba helyezte, és a sírbolt bejáratához egy követ hengerített.
47 Mary of Magdala and Mary the mother of Joset took note of where he was laid.	47 Mária Magdolna pedig és Mária, József anyja figyelték, hogy hová helyezték.
