Zechariah 4

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 The angel who was talking to me came back and roused me as though rousing someone who wasasleep.	1 فرجع الملاك الذي كلمني وايقظني كرجل أوقظ من نومه.
2 And he asked me, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'As I look, there is a lamp-stand entirely of gold with abowl at the top of it; it holds seven lamps, with seven openings for the lamps on it.	2 وقال لي ماذا ترى. فقلت قد نظرت واذا بمنارة كلها ذهب وكوزها على راسها وسبعة سرج عليها وسبع انابيب للسرج التي على راسها.
3 By it are two olive trees, one to the right and the other to the left.'	3 وعندها زيتونتان احداهما عن يمين الكوز والاخرى عن يساره.
4 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'What are those things, my lord?'	4 فاجبت وقلت للملاك الذي كلمني قائلا ما هذه يا سيدي.
5 The angel who was talking to me replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'	5 فاجاب الملاك الذي كلمني وقال لي أما تعلم ما هذه. فقلت لا يا سيدي.
6 He then gave me this answer,'These seven are the eyes of Yahweh, which range over the whole world.'	6 فاجاب وكلمني قائلا هذه كلمة الرب الى زربابل قائلا لا بالقدرة ولا بالقوة بل بروحي قال رب الجنود.
7 'What are you, great mountain? Beside Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! He wil bring out thekeystone while it is cheered with Hurrah! Hurrah!'	7 من انت ايها الجبل العظيم. امام زربابل تصير سهلا. فيخرج حجر الزاوية بين الهاتفين كرامة كرامة له
8 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 وكانت اليّ كلمة الرب قائلا
9 'The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this Temple; his hands wil finish it. (Then you wilknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you.)	9 ان يدي زربابل قد اسستها هذا البيت فيداه تتمّمانه فتعلم ان رب الجنود ارسلني اليكم.
10 A day of little things, no doubt, but who would dare despise it? How they wil rejoice when they see thechosen stone in the hands of Zerubbabel!'	10 لانه من ازدرى بيوم الأمور الصغيرة. فتفرح اولئك السبع ويرون الزيج بيد زربابل. انما هي اعين الرب الجائلة في الارض كلها.
11 Then I went on to ask him, 'What is the meaning of these two olive trees, to right and left of the lamp-stand?'	11 فاجبت وقلت له ما هاتان الزيتونتان عن يمين المنارة وعن يسارها.
12 (And I went on to ask him further, 'What is the meaning of the two olive branches discharging oilthrough the two golden openings?')	12 واجبت ثانية وقلت له ما فرعا الزيتون اللذان بجانب الانابيب من ذهب المفرغان من انفسهما الذهبيّ.
13 He replied, 'Do you not know what they are?' I said, 'No, my lord.'	13 فاجابني قائلا اما تعلم ما هاتان. فقلت لا يا سيدي.
14 He said, 'These are the two anointed ones in attendance on the Lord of the whole world. This is theword of Yahweh with regard to Zerubbabel, 'Not by might and not by power, but by my spirit' -- says YahwehSabaoth.	14 فقال هاتان هما ابنا الزيت الواقفان عند سيد الارض كلها
